Good if your needs are modest, screen scratches easily, portable
Performance-wise, the device operates as advertised: it does 130 watts total output, with 65 watts max per port. My old MacBook agreed that it was being charged at 65 watts, while my phone drew between 4 to 10 watts. Don't be surprised if you see the wattage fluctuate because it won't stay exactly pegged at 65 watts, or whatever the max draw is of your connected device. My only real-world testing so far is simultaneously charging a 2019 MacBook from 80 to 100%, and an iPhone from 65 to 100%. It did the job in a little less than thirty minutes, and depleted itself to about 8%. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, and the bank feels like the perfect shape and size in the hand. However, for its size (the dimensions listed are accurate) and weight (365 g), I agree with another reviewer who said this thing feels like it could/should have a higher capacity. The first screen you see after pressing the side button is either the overall battery charge (if nothing is connected), or the following (if you do have a device connected): percentage of charge remaining, battery remaining in hours and minutes, and the wattage going through each USB-C port. The second screen shows overall battery information: health as a percentage, number of cycles, and the battery temperature in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit. The third and fourth screens let you choose the screen timeout (30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes) and the screen brightness, respectively. Then you're back at the first screen. It's also worth mentioning that the power bank I received indicated it already had 12 cycles on it, and I assume that's just part of testing before it left the factory. This thing loses a half-star because the more I think about what that other reviewer said, it does feel like this could have more juice, but you clearly know you're buying a 12000 mAh power bank. It loses another half star because it has that same glossy piano-black plastic that you see in cars -- which looks good, but also scratches if you so much as look at it the wrong way. That said, it does come with a fabric draw-string bag for storage. Update: I had to order a replacement because one of the charging ports on the original wouldn't work at all for charging the device, and would display a "UVP" (undervolt protection) error. The replacement device is able to recharge via both ports, no problem. Also, the replacement device arrived with 0 cycles on it, whereas the one I originally ordered had 12 out of the box. Anyway, Anker customer service was great in helping me diagnose the issue and suggested I could return it via them, or through Amazon.

Works Great - Would Buy Again
This was the smallest high charge rate (laptop power) battery bank I could find. It has worked great. Really like that it shows the power rate (watts) both in and out and delivers power at the same speed as my OEM charger for my Dell XPS 13 and, in turn, when connected to a fast power supply, charges up fast as well. I have also been impressed with its ability to hold a 100% charge for weeks at a time when not using it. I take it whenever I may need laptop power and have unreliable power like on most airplanes or airports due unavailability of power or loose worn out receptacles that won't hold onto a power supply. Of course it also provides robust power for any lessor need such as tablets, phones, drones, lights, tools, etc. To put the size in perspective its overall volume is not much more than my iPhone 16 Pro (regular not Max) with a smaller footprint but a bit more than twice the thickness and it weighs a bit more and it feels just a bit heavier at 12oz vs 9oz for the phone with case.

Dead after 5 months, no warranty
Update: Anker saw my review and reached out and resolved the issue by replacing the unit. The base port and c1 port would not charge the unit anymore. Replacement works great. Anker informed me that warranty is 24 months. I have a few of these at this point and they are very portable and recharge fast. They don't get hot even when charging at full speed. Original review: Great power bank when it works, small and portable but good power output. However, mine died after only 15 cycles and 5 months and support told me there is no warranty. For the price these cost, one would expect something better. In my case the internal cells are bad and the unit is still pristine. I bought this unit because of the brand and the warranty but I guess that doesn't apply anymore. Buyer beware!

Updated: 2x Failures - Support Is Horrible! - it’s good, not great but the best high output ever
Edit 3 - July 2024 - Done with this junk and this companies Chinese junk. All sent to be properly destroyed. Another failed unit. Used it 18 cycles failed completely and won’t charge. These guys should be held accountable for impact to the environment. I hope no one takes these on an airplane either. Complete safety hazard I give Anker 6 months and these will be recalled. Edit 2 - May 2024 - I have a second unit, 22 cycles on it failed with "unable to charge with devices connected, unplug devices to continue" and now the screen stays on all the time and won't charge any devices. Anker Support has basically turned into the worst support ever questioning the device and how it was used. It was used to charge. Duh. It has zero damage. Never dropped. Sat on my desk 90% of the time I had it. They have to be using the cheapest IC's ever in these. Edit - Well 65 cycles later, 7 months later, the battery no longer charges from the dock mode. Sometimes via direct USBC it will / won't charge at all. Opened support ticket and hoping for replacement. Anker quality on these Prime batteries are really not good. Know what your buying is the summary. It’s a great pack knowing that. Yes it’s sold as a 12k but in reality this more like a 8k at best day. This because of the high output and battery voltage specs to reach 130w output. This model unlike its big brother the 20k it does not support input charging and output charging at the same time. If that’s important to you then this isn’t for you. Does recharge at insane speeds 65w input which is just amazing. So even though it discharges faster it charges insanely fast with the right adapter. Overall it meets my needs but others should be aware of its quirks. Batteries do seem strong too see how it lasts in a year or two. I use this to charge MBA 15 M2 + iPhone 15 Pro with no issues. Insane power.

This is my second large Anker charging pack and its display is very helpful for keeping track of its status. I used it when travelling in a crowded city and it does the job, even though it is a bit heavy to carry around. Nevertheless, one can charge when sitting at a coffee house or having something to eat. Very reliable so far. Purchased July 2024.
