Joseph Joseph Duo Silicone Garlic Peeler, Skin Remover Roller, Peel without Smell, Opal

Now I've got the knack I love this little garlic peeler! It's so easy to use, and it works incredibly well. I find I can only do two garlic cloves at once: I put them inside, roll them a few times (you don't need much pressure, just a little), and then shake them out of the tube and nine times out of ten they come out perfectly peeled, and the papery peel is completely separate. If they haven't peeled themselves, just pop them back in and roll again. Easy! I am so glad I bought this. I hate the sticky fingers I get from manual peeling, I hate cleaning my garlic crusher if I use it without peeling the cloves, and now I don't have to put up with either of those things. Wins all round!

Works okay, definitely easier than peeling by hand. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done without the garlic smell sticking to your fingers.

Definitely not a kitchen essential but I do live mine and use it all the time. It works really well if you do one or two cloves at a time and it's completely dry.

It works quite well, but only for two or three cloves of garlic. After that the inside is too oily to grip the skin and you must wash and dry it.

My new favourite! Very easy to use and I keep peeled garlics in a glass container in my fridge . They stay perfectly fresh and ready to serve me every night . If you keep them with skins outside fridge , they tend to gets mouldy. So as soon as I receive my new garlic clove, I will use this to peel all of them . Formidable!

I only tried using this once and it didn't manage to peel any of the garlic that I tried. I'd watched videos of these before purchasing it so was extremely disappointed that it didn't work. In the end I purchased a new garlic press which allows me to press the garlic without peeling it in the end. Although you mileage may vary I can't recommend this which is a shame as i've plenty of other Joseph Joseph items which i'm usually very pleased with.

This has changed my garlic peeling life. I am in my 50s and without my reading glasses, intricately peeling garlic skin off with a sharp knife was hazardous, a faltering process and annoying. This is brilliant. I just cut off the end and roll it with some pressure and hey presto! Wouldn’t be without it now.

Good Quality

A small tool, that will make peeling garlic a breeze. It is simple and does the work quickly. Simply rinse under water when done! Wish there was other color options :)
