Smells amazing when added to my morning oatmeal. Rehydrates nicely. Tastes good, but obviously not as sweet or flavorful as a good fresh one or something with a lot of added sugar or chemicals. But fresh strawberries are seasonal, expensive, and go bad quickly and these win at convenience. The trade-off is these can stay fresh in you cupboard basically forever. Surprisingly bright red for a dehydrated product. Would be good as a decoration or topping on baked goods.

These are the best freeze dried strawberry you can buy. I can’t eat a lot of sugar, and I always want a sweet snack. These are incredibly low in calories, absolutely delicious, and don’t make me sick. They also are really wonderful to put in ice water, to give it a little bit of flavor if you’re not really a fan of drinking just plain water, and sometimes I even bake with them!

I purchased this at the introductory special price of about $20. Product came the next day and was packed really well. Amazon shipped the item in a box with those air filled plastic balloons, so the item arrived in great condition which was a relief since freeze dried food items are a bit more delicate. Upon opening the bag, the smell of tart strawberries was very noticeable. The majority of the bag was whole unbroken slices. The fruit pieces were light, airy, slightly crisp/crunchy, and had a fresh tartness and mild sweetness. Very tasty and will definitely be using this in smoothies, whip cream, salads, or just to snack on as is. Great product, very fresh, and fantastic intro price. This bag should last a me a while assuming I can keep from eating it too quickly. Will definitely be picking up more after I run out.

These are tasty and enjoyable to eat. I like them because I live alone and sometimes fresh fruit gets moldy before I finish it. These are a great substitute. I also purchased to eat alongside Aldi's chocolate covered strawberries which are too chocolaty.

Great taste, however a lot of broken down pieces and powder in package.

The freeze dried strawberries are delicious and have a great texture. We add them to cereals and my kids eat them as a snack. However, the amount of strawberry dust in the bag is absurd. I’m currently typing this review while trying to blink strawberry dust from my eyes. Yesterday my daughter inhaled the dust on accident and was coughing for an hour. Every time you open the bag or pour some out a plume of dust arises. If you stick your hand in the bag you are covered in it. As we are nearing the end of the bag I decided to pour it all into a strainer to get rid of some dust and transfer to a new container. I was shocked at how much dust there actually was (see kitchen sink photo - the dust is deeper than the photo shows). I’ll have to decide if I’m buying again…

these are a staple in our house! delicious, great quality, and good bang for your buck! freeze dried fruit from health stores can be pricey, and these have saved our wallets!
