I couldn't believe the silly-high prices the ladder EOM wanted for replacement plastic end-caps on my '04 Forest River. The old ones (2x7) were almost all cracked and unsafe. I was concerned about how good these new rungs might be at a fraction of the cost, but they seem just fine. I actually decided to keep the old rungs, because they were silver (and the new ones are black). Also, I feel like the original rungs are slights sturdier. So, I just used the black plastic end caps off these new parts. The new end caps fit perfectly in the old rungs. We'll see how long they last in the Texas sun. (The originals eventually failed, which is why I'm having to fix the ladder now.)
