Rainbow Loom Metal Hook Tool Upgrade Kit with Anti Counterfeit Code (Green)

My daughter is really pleased with this metal hook which is much stronger than the original plastic one that came with her kit. It's better for more complex projects requiring bands to be pulled more forcefully. I wouldn't advise this though for younger rainbow loom fans under the age 8 guideline as it is quite sharp. We've broken one of the plastic ones so for us at a few pounds under the rrp this was a great purchase from amazon. As it comes with a mini loom you could use it as a standalone kit to make " fishtail" bracelets, without purchasing the larger loom.This comes with a code which promises access to a members' only area on the rainbow loom site, at time of writing said area does not yet exist, hopefully it will be at some point as the company tries to differentiate itself from cheaper imitations. I think the branded products are better and this is certainly a quality item. Recommended for older loomers.

Our 10-year old is already a little old for loom bands. And the big craze has long passed. Yet she still enjoys the activity and so does her younger brother increasingly. As some of her stock of old bands was decaying over time she asked for refills. And I though it nice idea to get her a more professional, branded hook as well.The hook is quite slim in contrast to the ultra cheap plastic hooks that come with the sets. So this contributes to far more precise looming action. Moreover the hook is naturally very sturdy, durable and has a good grip. Also a mini loom is included that is helpful for basic fish tail patterns. Also, as it is a small, convinient loom, it is easy to pack on our frequent trips abroad.

Lovely tool easy to use, great value for money seen on our sites for pounds more. Using the tool is great as the sturdiness is great making it easy to hook the bands, with the mini maker it stores on the end of the tool making very portable- would definitely recommend.

Does the job. Cheap and cheerful

Was as described, genuine product. My only niggle, it said it came with some unique code which it did, but there were no instructions on the packaging telling you what to do with the code. I had to google the company and go to their page.other than that top marks
