Excellent telescope for the price.
The 130mm optics give clear, sharp views of the Moon, planets and brighter deep-sky objects, and the StarSense app makes finding targets incredibly easy for beginners. Setup is quick and the Dobsonian mount is solid, though in hindsight I should have bought a tripod version — that one’s on me, not the scope. Overall, a brilliant bit of kit that’s fun, intuitive and very capable for casual stargazing

Great for seeing the moon
Great piece of equipment. Got it for my son who's really developed a passion for the stars and moon. We only used it to see the moon so far as we do have lots of light pollution where we live and it gets dark quite late for the kids to be up. But looking forward to the longer nights in winter. Telescope is easy to set up, and easy to maneuver. Ive not used the app much yet so can't comment on that. The moon on the other hand looks amazing. My son loves to track the apollo landings

buy a mobile phone holder and get the leg attachments
get a mobile phone attachment for the lens. it makes viewing alot easier. Apart from that a decent manual buy for beginners.

AMAZING TELESCOPE
This telescope is the BEST I’ve had. Just for people who want to know, you see everything upside down, which is normal as the telescope uses mirrors to reflect light instead of refracting light. This product has really good magnification and I can even see Jupiter with it! Plus , this would be the BEST telescope under £300, and the eyepieces are very good quality! Definitely recommended

Amazing views of the moon but limit your expectations
This is not a cheap telescope. The build quality is undeniable. It comes well packaged and only requires basic assembly as well as alignment and all the tools required are included. The star sense app makes it so user friendly that my four year old who can not read yet can pretty much make great use of it and if you can read it is incredible, I still can not believe that it is included for free. Reason I give it three stars is because besides the moon nothing else seems clear. We tried looking at Jupiter, Venus and Mars and they just look like distant stars even with an additional 2x Barlow lens and 6mm eye piece. The stars were a waste of time in my opinion because they just look like bigger lights than you would see with your naked eye. We took it on a glamming trip in the country side to escape the light pollution and ended up looking at the sheep instead and even this was a little awkward because they appear upside down. Also worth mentioning, the weather conditions in the north of England make it difficult to get regular clear skies and in the cold weather be advised that your breath will constantly steam up the eye pieces. I can not recommend because I do not see the value for money in this.
