Oh, cooling blanket, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Yes, I am truly obsessed with my cooling blanket.As I had recently become vexed by the onset of perimenopause and the plague of hot flashes that accompany it, I would absolutely roast and suffer at night while trying to sleep. I had been trying various covers, sheets, etc., but everything was just too hot. I’m sure most of you know, we need the protection of a blanket against aliens coming to take us, so going without a cover was out of the question. I started searching on Amazon and came across this fabulous blanket. I was hopeful after reading the many positive reviews! Well, let me tell you, the reviews are absolutely right.When my blanket was delivered, the mail carrier placed the box on the front porch in the hot August sun. It probably sat in the sun for a few hours before I realized it had been delivered, so I went out and got my box. Upon opening and taking the blanket out, it was cool to the touch even then! I couldn’t believe it was even possible, because all the accompanying items in the box were searing hot! I thrust the blanket at my father, encouraging him to touch the cold blanket.Anyway, I didn’t even wash it first because it smelled fine and I was just super excited to put the blanket on the bed. It’s a very slippery blanket, so it does slide around a bit at night, but it’s a small price to pay for the cooling effect it provides me. When I got under the blanket that first night, it actually was cold under there! In the heat of the summer, that was a welcome surprise. My tiny dog, a 6 pound Papillon, likes to get under the covers at night with me…probably also to be safe from alien abduction. He got too cold under the blanket and started shivering from the effect, so he quickly came out and decided to sleep on top of the blanket instead. I stayed under my silky cold blanket and slept in cool comfort for the first time in months! No throwing off of the blanket during a hot flash! In fact, I am quite convinced that this cooling blanket actually shortens the duration of a hot flash. I began to wonder if I could simply wear this blanket during the day instead of clothes…As my tiny dog realized I was keeping this cold blanket, he finally decided to start sleeping under it with me. Now, I think he enjoys it as much as I do because he doesn’t get too hot from lying next to me, and he stays under the blanket all night. The other nice thing is that dog hair doesn’t stick to this blanket at all!I’m not sure how it will be for me in the cooler months…it is possible I may need to put another blanket on top of this one, but I definitely want this blanket against my skin to help dissipate any excess heat, especially during a hot flash. The size blanket I got was a queen, and it is perfectly true to size. I have considered getting a twin size one just to take with me when I travel anywhere so I can ensure I will sleep in cool comfort. It is amazing to not wake up feeling sweaty and hot! I would absolutely recommend purchasing this blanket as soon as you can, if you are a hot sleeper or suffer from night sweats or hot flashes. I swear, I think the blanket is made using magic!

This COOLING BLANKET is lightweight, soft, fits perfectly on our king size bed, and does exactly what it is advertised to do!! The color is calming, it really does cool your body so you can sleep peacefully, and it functions as advertised. We’re very happy with this purchase and it was on sale at a very reasonable price.

Summer sleep game changer! I had purchased a cooling blanket last summer and while I lived how cool it stayed and kept me, it was really more a throw. A very light thing throw. I need a blanket to fall asleep. This is the BEST blanket ever! It's thick enough to feel like a comforter but still that magic cooling fabric. So glad I bought this before the super uncomfortable hot summer nights. Actually had to add a warm blanket to it this morning! Run don't walk and get this, you won't regret it... unless you're too cold!

This is A MUST HAVE if you're a hot sleeper! I have had a few different brands of cooling blankets but this one by far is the BEST!!! It is really cool to the touch ..more than any of the others. It Isn't too thick or too thin!! It's a little pricy but trust me it's worth every penny!

The blanket overall is super soft & lightweight. It definitely does cool you down. However I wouldn’t say it makes you as cold as you’d think. I didn’t expect to be freezing but I did hope to feel a little bit more cool. I did also share it with someone so that could have been part my flaw but I would recommend it nonetheless. If you do want this with the intent to share i’d highly suggest considering getting two smaller ones for each person instead of one large blanket.

This is the best $70 I've spent on myself in a long time. I love this blanket. I like to be cold when I sleep & this blanket does the trick. My bedroom is set to 66 & it feels even cooler with the blanket. I've spent a lot of money in the name brands & this blanket outperforms them all. I ordered a queen & it is smaller than any queen sized blank that I've used before. It's still enough for me.

This blanket is okay. It doesn’t stay cold that long just for about 10 minutes until you have to move it around. But it is comfortable and easy to wash. The color is great and it’s very soft. Thickness wise is a little thin. The value of the money is pretty good for what you get.

Best cooling blanket and I have tried many. Hot sleeper and this does the job. Getting one for my husband.
