French Manicure - 22005 Bare Rose by Orly for Women - 0.6 oz Nail Polish

This stuff is the best. Particularly great if you're under Coronapocalypse pressure and either fairly new to doing your own nails, or pressed for time (maybe because like me you're in wife/mommy mode 24/7 with all these people at home that need you ALL THE TIME nowadays, and you feel like you barely have time for you?😁). You still want your hands to look great, and this stuff makes that part super easy. Don't be fooled by the color on the bottle though! This is not your regular opaque nail polish. It's decidedly more nude, more translucent. There are other more opaque colors in the Orly French Manicure line and in my humble opinion, this is the most natural looking one by a mile. Some of the other colors are so heavily tinted that it adds a strange look to the white tips of your nails. Which kinda defeats the thought of a French manicure. I personally use this when I either need a mani-in-a-hurry, or if I am all over the place in terms of colors that I'm wearing and feeling and don't want to commit to any one particular shade. This product doesn't even need a base coat. Just swipe on a coat, let it dry, then add another coat. A clear top coat isn't necessary for me, but if you wish you could always add one. To be clear, this is a one-step polish. There are no stupid sticker guides to fumble with, and there is no separate white polish for your tips. Unless you're blessed (or creepy?) enough to be ambidextrous, you will always end up with one hand reasonably well done and the other one a total nightmare, with multi-step French manicure kits. Unless you have someone to do that OTHER hand, it's never a job you can be proud of. With this stuff, those time consuming and messy challenges are a thing of the past. Apart from how great it looks, the other added beauty is that it requires virtually no clean up because it's so nude looking. This is another reason why it's great if you always feel like you're in a pinch for time. The color is so nude that it adds a noticeable-if-you-look hue to your nail, yet clear enough to allow the naturally white tips of your nails to shine through beautifully. Hence the appearance of a French manicure. Last point of fabulousness with this find is the ease of removal. Because of its barely-there look, removal is a breeze. Zero staining and messes, it wipes off easily with no residual mess left behind. It comes off easily with any ol' nail polishe remover you already have on hand, and leaves your nails in great shape. No soaking, no harsh chemicals needed, and no buffing and filing to remove any staining. This is a must-have item to have on hand, and gets your nails looking perfectly tended in a breeze. Highly highly highly recommend it.

Absolutely love this polish! Love the color, could be used for French manicure but I used it on my whole nail and it gave me the cleanest, most elegant looking nails. The polish lasted me about 2 weeks before I started seeing major chips. Will buy again!

This is my favorite nail color. It is a peachy/pink color and looks like a French manicure, without being too pink or too peachy. I use it without the white on the tips. It makes your nails look natural and healthy.

This is a beautiful color. I got the Orly nail polish in Rose Painted Glasses. I think that's what it was called. Anyway, I have OCD and I really struggle to wear nail polish or mostly anything that is pretty do to intense intrusive thoughts about vanity and other things. Every time I notice my nails I will look at them with my full attention for a while, and over the corse of a day, ill notice and look at them really often. I hate having my attention so forcefully ripped away from what I actually want to be thinking about of doing. Its really frustrating. I really like this color because it has seemed to solve both problems. Its just a milky pink that its almost the color of my skin and It just doesn't draw my attention away, but it does look really really nice when I do notice it. It also feel like a very modest color, which helps with lessen the intrusive thoughts. idk if I needed to share all this, but I am very grateful for the product. I am glad to have one thing in my life that I can use to feel a little girlier and pritty without immediately ripping the colors off because I can't take to intrusive thought that follow.

I have been through my RED and deep color stage for awhile. I am a chef and handle food and can't stand colored nails and can't see the junk hidden under the nailin food nor hair so long it can get tangled in the blender...kitchen safety regulations. Pardon my expression, this is the nude nails time in my life, plus I am not trying to hide anything. Love MY nails. This is a very natural coloring and not a clear pink nude. It is forgiving and easy to apply even 3 coats, which changes the appearance to a more natural matte build up. I am completely happy with this color and label. I would definitely order again and recommend for a beatiful natural, polished look. Good Value

Nice neutral color. Goes on well. I use 2 coats with a pinkish clear top coat. Okay price.

perhaps the only very good point about this nail polish is the colour...it is lovely soft pink...very nice French manicure colour... I didn't like a few things about it - first and foremost, that it didn't dry very well...the coat didn't have a hard finish...it was very easy to warp the finishing since it didn't dry fast enough... you needed about 3 coats...one more than I would think necessary for a good quality nail polish it was a runny consistency - and I think this is why it didn't dry quick or hard enough... better than some brands I have tried...but unless it was a to-die-for colour, I would probably not buy this brand again...

Brilliant nail polish

this is a great every day nail varnish for when you want your nails to look nice and shiny and healthy. it needs to be reapplied every week but i look forward to my weekly remover and reapplication of varnish while relaxing at the end of the week! beautiful colour, love the applicator brush, completely surprised about this considering i purchased this as an add on!
