Mightylite Elite 16W Dusk to Dawn Wall Light with PIR - Portrait (White)

Where do I start...Having researched this brand and lamp by watching videos on youtube put out by the company and hearing the claims of this being an excellent product using the very best and latest tech, I decided to buy one.Well this is the third Mightylite Elite 16W dusk to dawn unit in as many weeks or less. The previous two were both faulty, one arrived with a broken timer switch, the second arrived with a complete strip of LED's not working. Begs a question about quality control, so called excellence and latest tech. This my third unit does however work though not as it should fully. The dusk to dawn sensor and half light works faultlessly, but the PIR sensor is absolute rubbish and barely capable of sensing anything. The sensor will not sense anything approaching from the left to centre line of the unit, anything to the right is OK. I contacted the company both customer services and their quality assurance manager direct about this issue asking the question if the PIR is set/positioned correctly, but no response... like the light as good as useless. I would have returned/replaced the light again if it weren't for the now present drill holes in my wall that would prove difficult to cover up, so I guess use in dusk to dawn mode will just have to do.In conclusion: Nice looking, non-rusting , useful dawn to dusk light, but utterly useless as a PIR unit and comes with equally utterly useless customer services
