Q: Is this easy to cut into shapes? i.e., if i wanted to make a giant christmas tree to spray paint green, decorate, and then walk around in?

This cardboard is very easy to cut with a sharp utility knife. I use it for backing on jigsaw puzzles and pictures.

Q: Is this strong enough to use to protect an item while shipping?

Item was garbage, very thin, and not protected in shipping, so arrived damaged, I'd find a better solution.

Q: Would thia be good for attaching targets for rifle shooting

Probably, but you would need to support it with 2X2's or 2X4's.

Q: do these still ship in plastic wrap or did they add more protection during shipping?
