Spiritual Discernment

Extremely excellent book

Will probably read again and again. Nine weeks ago I prayed in earnest for the Apostolic Anointing of the Gifts of the Spirit. I boldly asked God to disburse the appropriate Gifts in me according to the Spirit's discernment. Some of the Gifts have been evident in my life for many years, but I realized that I could ask God for even more tools in my tool box of Spiritual Gifts in order to edify the Church. My desire has always been to be used and directed by the Holy Spirit since age 13, I am now 65 Years Old! My journey in the the Spirit has been amazing. The manifestations of His Spirit are Supernatural and amazing is His Power! At this age, remaining close to the Heart of God is my ultimate desire and to be used by Him as He directs..... This book was very instructive and enlightening.....many things were simply confirmed....many things were clarified.....so very inspiring. The narrow gate is a passage that requires God to know we truly LOVE HIM and for us to truly know that He LOVES US as we walk together in unity by His Grace.....

Read this book in a quiet place and take notes and it will help you a lot with your discernment

If you'd want to learn about discerning spirits, making proper decision based on faith, and overall getting wise advise from someone who knows all realms of their spiritual walk, READ THIS BOOK. I enjoyed it because it took me to seminary class or you felt like Mr. Nee student writers were taking you personally under his wing to guide you to believe in something deeper and greater than what you currently do. His teachings stretch you to want to be better, follow scripture, and test out what his theories are about. For some who just have basic understanding of scripture and don't like research or deep thinking, this book is not for you. It's for those people who enjoy deep concentrated self-study and awareness thru obedience to their higher God, Christ.

This is a must have in every library!! Wow! I pray to continually grow in the knowledge of Jesus until my whole life reflects him. A tender spirit is my constant desire.

Although I had to re-read a paragraph or two for understanding, it is very helpful in knowing how to discern by the spirit. As I read, I had to put some things into modern terms in order to understand what was meant.

Some people are born with the gift of discernment, while others need to work at growing in it... When I got back from my military service overseas, I was trained under a minister in street ministry who happened to be the Cities top exorcist as well. Like reading the Bible, it is good to review what you may have forgotten or perhaps to learn more on the spiritual principles you have been taught. Just like anything else, you must learn and stay proficient in one's service to other, and I highly recommend this book!

This man - Watchman Nee - truly had deep insights given to him by the Holy Spirit. I was blessed reading this book.

Watchman Nee is a great read. Easy to understand yet deep in thought and inspiration

A good, concise and helpful little book. I recommend you read it in conjunction with Nee's "The Spiritual Man" for a full understanding.
