So far so good
I haven't been using it long enough to feel great results yet, but I know ots working on some major throat muscles. I have an open bite and am waiting on a long specialist list to be seen, so I needed to exercise all of the related muscle groups. I have been in agony for a few years now and have to wear a mouth guard to stop my teeth from grinding. (To long to go into great detail). Using this instrument for the past few days it seems to be helping. I really didn't expect it to, but I know that if I keep using this 3 times a day, I'm going to strengthen my muscles so much more that it'll help me cope with the long wait I have to see an expert. (As everyone knows what that's like on the NHS lists). I feel like my bite-down is not as hard as it previously was. That's a miracle as far as I'm concerned. I only wish I had found ot sooner. Yes, it feels strange to use at first. Yes, its a tiny bit harsh on the lips, but that's what you'd expect; it's to help pull out the muscles as you resist, that's how you build strength. I only mention this as i have read complaints on here about that. No complaints from me as I'm benefitting greatly from it. Its a minor factor. I'd definitely recommend 👌

Supremely uncomfortable.
It does indeed bear some functional resemblance to the original Swedish and very expensive IQoro but thanks to the angular shape (why?) and sharp edges (not dangerous, just with poor cheap finish) it is unbelievably uncomfortable. That’s £14.99 down the drain. And I do not have oddly shaped mouth/lips or hyper-sensitive mouth. I am hoping that the £11 silicone copy of IQoro off eBay will be better before I fork out for the IQoro . Unusable. For me at least.

A good purchase if it works
Whilst this device is advertised for snoring relief, it basically works in the same way as the Iqoro device for gastric reflux which costs 10x more! It'll therefore be a bargain if it helps with reflux. Comfortable to use and no sharp edges on the one I got unlike with some reviewers.

A Possibly Magical Device...?
I bought this device as an alternative to a ridiculously more expensive one that my wife uses to alleviate the effects of acid reflux. At little more than a tenth of the price of that device and similar in design, I figured that if it doesn't work I won't have wasted much. Like my wife, I have symptoms caused by acid reflux but thanks to medication I don't actually "suffer" from it. However, if it helps me to give up the medication, so much the better. I use it three times a day before meals to do what I think of as mouth stretching exercises as directed in the leaflet that accompanies the device. I should add that as far as I know I'm not prone to snoring, so it won't cure me of that but before I started using it I had a lot of pain in one of my toes. That pain has now magically disappeared. Could it be that I have bought an All-Purpose Pain Relief Device for just £14.99? I've with held the final star of the five just as a temporary measure. If it continues to work miracles I'll upgrade it to five stars. If it produces no other miracles I'll downgrade to three. At least it was cheap!
