Zanussi Fan Oven Heater Element. Genuine part number 3871425108

Bought this on 2nd January 2024 after the element of the main oven died while cooking Boxing Day dinner the previous week! At the time of ordering it seemed to be a generic compatible product but I received a genuine ‘Electrolux’ (they own Zanussi) item. I note that it is now described as a genuine item. Excluding the 5 to 10 minutes taken to check online about replacing the element, the actual replacement took 8 minutes. Very easy. No need to remove the back of the oven or anything. Over a year later, as expected, it continues to function perfectly.

Great purchase easy to fit

My oven stopped getting hot, though appeared to be working otherwise and I suspected a broken element was the cause, as my electrics had tripped. Ordered this, and with the use of an instructional online video, I was easily able to remove the back oven plate, take the old element out, and insert this newly purchased one. The whole process took around 10 minutes and was very straightforward. And then, my oven worked again! Highly recommend giving this a go yourself using this part, it’s very achievable even for someone who doesn’t do much DIY, and there’s plenty of clear instructions online. All you really need is the new element, and the appropriate screwdriver bits. Much quicker, easier and cheaper than paying someone for parts and labour. Really happy with this product. It was also a lot cheaper than the one supplied from the manufacturer.

Product is well made and the correct element for my zanussi oven. Works really well. Please only fit if you are confident with electrics. This is Easy to fit, you have to install from the front inside the oven at the back. Remove the four screws from the 4 corners at the rear to locate the element. Two screws hold element in place remove these and the spade connectors to fit new element. Fit back plate. Burn off for half an hour at 250c job done.
