Bought this as a replacement for a previously purchased one I forgot to remove from a written off car,A nice compact size, the build quality is good, it seems a bit 'plasticky' when you have it in hand but it's a good solid feel.Easy to fit, and as such is easy to hide from the drivers view whilst driving, comes with the standard 'cigarette socket', plug, however I'd suggest buying the hardwire kit..(also sold on Amazon), to give a more permanent installation and also fully enable the 'car parking' mode.(which will shut down when the camera detects the car battery level has dropped to a 'pre set' level to stop it flattening your battery).It comes with extra mounting plates in the box to allow you to remove from one car and re-fit into another without messing around buying extra parts.So easy to use and set up, just power it up and then connect it to the app ..(there's a couple of app suggestions in the literature...personally I've used the 'OKCAR' app and found it works perfectly with the cam),It connects quickly, just follow the instructions and it's up and running in a manner of seconds, giving you various options to alter to suit your taste / requirementsNow onto the actual cam details,It sits discreetly and just does it's job,The picture quality is very clear..(it was the footage from a previously purchased one that clearly showed a vehicle running in to the rear of me after I'd stopped during congestion on the M25).It doesn't have any screens to distract you whilst you are driving, and all the notification noises / bleeps these cams seem to make nowadays can easily be disabled with the app.All in all a good little cash cam that gives value for money alongside that added security you need nowadays when driving.

I’ve been using the IIWEY EY05 4K dash cam for a couple of weeks now, and it’s hands down one of the best value dash cams I’ve ever tried. With front and rear coverage, ultra-clear video quality, and loads of helpful features, it ticks every box for both everyday driving and added peace of mind.First off, installation was very straightforward. The main front camera mounts securely on the windscreen with a strong adhesive mount, and the rear camera connects easily with a long enough cable to fit around most vehicles. Instructions were clear and included everything I needed — I had it up and running in under 30 minutes.The 4K front footage is genuinely impressive. The image is sharp, vibrant, and packed with detail. You can easily make out number plates, signs, and other important details even in low light. The rear camera offers Full HD and provides great backup visibility and rear-end coverage, which is brilliant for parking or capturing incidents behind you.The unit supports loop recording, G-sensor for automatic file saving during collisions, and parking monitoring — all the features you'd expect in a premium dash cam. It also supports up to 128GB cards, which means you won’t be running out of space too quickly.What really stood out for me though was the night vision. The low-light performance is top notch — headlights, taillights, and surroundings are all clearly visible without glare or blur. You don’t need to squint through grainy footage if something happens at night.The screen on the camera is clear and responsive, and the user interface is easy to navigate. It also offers voice recording, timestamp, and speed display, which is handy if you ever need to share footage for insurance or legal purposes.One small thing to be aware of — the rear camera is waterproof for external mounting, but it’s not adjustable once fitted, so take care during installation to get the angle right first time. Apart from that, no complaints whatsoever.All in all, this is a fantastic dash cam setup for anyone looking for front and rear protection without breaking the bank. Crisp 4K video, easy setup, reliable features — highly recommended!

This is quite a good dashcam, comes with everything you need in the box.Feels good quality and sturdy in the hands and does not feel cheap.Instalation was straight forward its just about finding where you would hide the wires(make sure you don't go over the airbags in the pilars.The quality is very good and clear, it looks better in person than shown on the pictures as these are just screenshots.I would recommend to anyone who needs a good sturdy dashcam.

It's that time of year again, constant stories of people break checking you trying to get an insurance claim. I wanted to avoid the anxiety those could cause this year so I thought to invest in a decent dash camera.Opening the box you will find things nicely packaged with a fairly premium feel, which you wouldn't expect from an unknown brand. The packaging has QR codes to scan for things like videos on how to install and hard-wiring if you decide to go that route (It's an extra £20 but allows it to record while you're parked up).The real feature which makes this camera worth it's weight in gold is the functionality. Gone are the days you need to play around with the sd card, putting it into a PC and taking the footage this way, you just download the app and you can select the footage and it downloads straight away. The downloads can take some time but the front camera is 4K and the back camera is 1080p and the quality is exceptional.I found the install very easy, the cables were long enough to be routed neatly allowing nearly all of the cable to be hidden so it does not obstruct either the front or the rear windshield. Additionally the live view through the app was a lifesaver when installing as I nearly installed the rear camera upside down.Highly recommend this option, cannot fault it
