UPDATE: Seller reached out to me and offered both a refund and a new product. I told them not to worry about the refund I just wanted another product that didn't leak. The seller has sent me a new product and also refunded 20% of the purchase price even though I said don't worry about it. Very good customer service, wish more places had this level of CS. For the updated review I'll say the one in my flowerbed is still working great with no leaks and just on the CS alone I'm changing to a 5star review. Bought 2 of these one for a garden soaker hose setup and one for a flowerbed soaker hose setup. Both come on twice a day for 15 minutes every 12 hours. Garden splitter worked great for about 1 month. Came back from vacation last week and my deck was soaked. Looked at the splitter and it is leaking from the valve on the side with the timer attached. When I turn it off the leak stops. I tried tightening the little screw to make sure it was all snug. As soon as I turn it back on there is a steady leak. The one for the flowerbed is doing fine so far, no leaks don't know if I got a lemon or what.

This is a great two-way hose valve. The quality materials is good and I would recommend to a friend.

I bought two of these to replace splitters that I have been using for years on some of my spigots. The on-off lever is so much easier to use than the yellow rectangle "knob" on my older splitters. They worked so well that I ordered three more for the remainder of my spigots. Well, as luck would have it, one of the last three has a very fine spray leak between the hose attachment and the green body, but only on one outlet. My older splitters had a metric hex inside that I could tighten if need be. These newer ones appear to need a specific two-sided flat, two-sided round tool for repair, if at all. Anyway, this is not a killer issue because I generally turn the spigots off and relieve the pressure on the hoses when finished. I use the leaky outlet on a short-use hose that I turn on and off as needed. Would I recommend these splitters? Heck yeah, I do! ...just wish it didn't leak. (Oh, I now have five new rolls of teflon anti-seize tape and ten new hose washers since the tape and washers are included.) UPDATE: As stated above I bought a total of five of these over two months or so back in the summer.. Of the five I bought three of them are now leaking at the joining of the green and the metallized plastic... the shiny stuff. I am way past any return date. I now say *** 3 stars at best!!! Update ( May 2025): I bought five of these back in June/July 2023. I haven't used them much since the reviews above were written. With the new 2025 season of planting and watering I decided to really go through these cutoffs and see what's what. Bottom line: They all leak either at the cutoff handle screw or between the green/"metal" bad enough that I won't use them at all. I am now using one-piece brass "Y"s with no leaks. I can't recommend these splitters. Too bad. too because they are so easy to switch off and on. New rating now one star because I can't give zero stars.

I thought these would be sturdier than what I had before. Installation was a breeze and the bigger shutoff handles were much easier to work with. Unfortunately, after about 6 months, one of the handles would turn, but the water still didn't come out. I ended up tossing the splitter and went with something else. I still have the other one. Price was reasonable, unfortunately, it didn't last long. Won't likely buy again. UPDATE: I am adding a star to the review due to the outstanding customer service the seller provided! I received a message from the seller offering a refund for the defective unit AND a free replacement on top of it. This was totally unexpected but very much appreciated!

I recently purchased the Hose Splitter 2 Way, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The heavy-duty metal construction feels solid and durable, which is exactly what I needed for using with my RV at campgrounds. I’ve used a few plastic splitters in the past, but this one stands out because it’s much more sturdy and reliable.
