Kyle Swanson is the new Mitch rapp
The story moves very quickly and once you are into it is very hard to put down. The hero is believable and the plot breathtaking with many twists and turns leading to an excellent ending?

COOL!
I only give it four instead of five star as it is only slightly not as good as the first (kill zone), but make no mistake Gunnery Sgt Jack Coughlin (experience and ideas probably) and Donald A. Davis(the guy who actually werites the book)are at the very top of this genre. This book is non stop, non-put-downable and not so out there or unbelievable thanks probably to plenty of experience and research going into it. this book is totally worthy of a blockbuster film (i'm suprised the first which is epic! hasn't already been done).BUY THIS! READ THIS! FOLLOW THE WHOLE AWESOME SERIES!!!

Dead Shot
A very enthralling read by somebody that has been and done it. It's one of them books you struggle to put down once you get going. I've read his other books and they are as good.

Tries hard to tick all the boxes
A by the numbers but perfectly acceptable thriller.Black ops sniper Kyle Swanson comes up against terrorists who have a WOMD and are prepared to use it. One of the lead terrorists is a British Muslim who is also a top sniper. Cue some scampering around the world, some Special Forces action, some heavy duty sniping and some terrorist carnage. The writing is fine, the characters slightly underdeveloped and it does seem to make an effort to tick all the boxes required of this kind of thriller, sometimes a bit too obviously. Despite the main bad guy being a Brit, the author is otherwise pretty positive towards Britain which made a refreshing change. There are some flaws (some underused characters and a few plot/logic holes) but with this kind of book you have moderate expectations, you don't expect mind blowing literature - you expect a read and forget thriller and in that regard this ticks all those boxes well enough.

A Really Good Read
I read this when on holidays and it is a good adventure book that will keep you turning the pages. I would say this is definitely one for the guys and follows the trail of two snipers, who know each other, and want each other dead. It is thankfully not a predictable read and all the scenes are well described. I also like the authors style of writing. All in a good read and I would recommend it.

SWANSON TO THE RESCUE
I really like this series and Gunner Swanson is a nerdy hero to me!!!This is the 2nd book in the series and we return to where Swanson is still mourning over the killing of his girlfriend. All of that needs to be put on the back burner as Juba is still around, and following the assassination of an Iraq scientist he has the formula for a dirty bomb to now be produced and set off. The first target is an up and coming Royal Wedding on English territory, followed quickly by a second target on USA soil killing over 4,500 innocent souls, Swanson and his team with Sybelle in tow are off to find and kill him.Juba is hard to find and even harder to kill but Swanson knows that it has to be one of them, but who will it be if at all?

a good story and thrilling read
Having read and enjoyed the first in this series I wanted to see if the 2nd was as good. It is. This story doesn't require deep intelligence but is a good killer of time and can be picked up and put down easily. The characters are well described and written. Good guys and bad guys, you can't beat it
