It is impressive!
I decided to write a review on this as it is in need of minor refinements. The faceplates of the vu and radio sections are of flimsy material. The plastic over these areas should have been a bit thicker. The Tweeters are what I'd call mid-tweeters that don't really reach the high end of the spectrum, however do provide a good boost to vocals, lead guitars and whatnot. Now as for the woofers on their own do a great job and are rated at 4 Ohm's and 15 watts each. Back in my day that did not mean 30 watt output. The sound is good but for the woofers they placed an insufficient passive radiator with not enough excursion surround that would equal the woofers surrounds, plus it should have been larger. Heavy bass tracks will distort and rattle do to this oversight in design (given you like it loud). The feel of the controls isn't great. Sometimes I find myself having to hit the tape controls several times to get the desired function engaged. The knobs can seem to be a mix of easy and hard to turn. The SD card can be a little hard to place into the cassette. It's probably because I have large fingers. The tape function and mono, stereo switches are fakes! I would have like for at least the mono, stereo switch to have functioned for the radio. Radio tunes in well. SW1 & 2 are just for show. Listening to this at low levels will impress you! It will have people wowed! I have decided to upscale my star rating to 5 stars as over time this little gem still performs well after 6 months of use.
