I wouldn’t recommend giving these to small children. I bought them for my 9-year-old daughter who loves to read and often has multiple books she’s reading at once. She uses these and loves them but they’re not sturdy at all. They’re stronger than plain paper but not even half as sturdy as a piece of cardboard. Just be careful with them and you’re golden.

I keep running out of things to use as bookmarks and went searching for some on Amazon. I didn't want anything with tassels or made out of wood or some other special modification. Just some nice, plain, thin bookmarks, which for some reason were hard to find. Then, I discovered these and they work PERFECTLY. A few of the designs are strange (One has a cat sitting on a toilet) but, for the most part, they are all very cute and work extremely well was bookmarks. I HIGHLY recommend.

Bought these books for students in my middle school library. Students could pick out a book mark under the condition that they also check out a library book to read. In a day, check-out numbers doubled. Work spread around the school that the library had cute cat bookmarks and the kids went feral in the best way possible. Plus, the back of the bookmark is a good place for quick notes and annotations without writing in the book itself.
