This is a really nice cover. It measures true to size... and despite having to order a cover a few inches larger than my hot tub... it still fits snug around the tub and does not move with strong winds. It has been frozen already and survived just fine, snow is not a concern and the spring rains bead up on the cover and roll right off when I go to remove it.

I purchased the iBirde SPA COVER (protective) to extend the useful life of the original vinyl insulation cover. The vinyl cover is now in its 9th year of service, which I judge to be pretty good considering its location under the intense sun in South Central Texas. I contribute its longevity to the original product quality and regular cleaning and use of 303 Aerospace Protectant. The vinyl surface is now beginning to show signs of deterioration as small surface cracks start to develop as plasticizers in the vinyl breakdown. Meanwhile, the condition of the foam core and the stitched seams are generally good shape and I judge the addition of the iBirdie protective cover is a cost-effective means to protect the vinyl from further deterioration and extending its useful life. As an aside, I now understand the use if a vinyl conditioner in addition to the 303 Aerospace Protectant would have been beneficial. I was pleased with the quality and fit of the 90’ x 90” iBirdie cover. I was concerned that it would be like a typical plastic tarp material but instead it has a nice fabric texture. The black iBirdie cover is a 600D polyurethane (PU)-treated fabric and should hold up well with periodic cleaning, plus UV and waterproofing treatment. The 600D fabric weight appears to be the right balance for availability, durability, weight, handling and cost. One of the reasons I chose this product is for its four adjustable buckles and waterproof zippers on each corner ensure a secure fit for your spa cover and ease of handling. I did not want to have to remove and install this protective cover before and after operating the installed hard vinyl cover. The corner buckles and zippers allow unrestricted operation of the hard cover while the iBirdie cover remains in place. Finally, the cover is provided with helpful covered vents. If the iBirdie cover proves to be durable, considering its quality, fit, and features should make it a worthwhile purchase.

Should have bought this years ago! Totally keeps rainwater out of the tub and will protect the Much more expensive cover. Nice quality, tightens on the corners and fits over the cover lifter well. Be sure to include it in your measurements.

Addendum: 10 months now on this cover. Overall, a good cover. The material that seemed thin has held up well to the heat, cold and wind. However, the zippers which are very small did not fare well as predicted. They became hard to close despite silicon lube. Then they broke as not being able to zip due to teeth failure. This would be a much better cover if it had bigger, more durable zippers. Again, overall, a good cover that would be excellent if it had zipper upgrade. This is for the excellent iBirdie hot tub cover 85 x 73 inches. First, it perfectly fit my Master Spa Twilight Series 67.25 spa with Ultralift Boomerang cover lifter! This is the only cover I have found / used that fit like it was made specifically for my spa. It fits over the expensive hard foam spa cover like a glove. The seams are taped and stitched well. All four corners have zippers and strap closure. The zippers and straps make opening the cover quick and easy. Even in high winds the cover has stayed on the spa. It is also very reasonably priced. I would buy again and may well just to have a spare on hand. Very pleased with this cover and gets five stars from me. Best cover I have found for my spa. That said, my wish list: 1) I wish it came in some other color than black, probably great for the cold north. In the heat of southwest USA the black gets hot enough to fry an egg in 30 seconds. A light tan would be great addition. 2) The fabric is a bit thin in hand. With the sun's heat being absorbed by the black color I wonder how durable the cover will be. Time will tell. Of course, at the price could buy one every year, but rather have it last few years. 3) The zippers are rather small in size. Would be nice to have beefy zippers, again for durability.

The iBirdie Outdoor Waterproof hot tub cover arrived on time. Size was exactly as ordered and was a nice snug fit over my tub insulated top. When opening the hot tub top, there's no need to remove cover to open top. Simply unclip the two cover fasteners on the opening side of tub. Cover stays in place while top is folded over and raised up. Cover easily refastens after top is lowered and unfolded back into place. I am very happy with the fit and function of this product.

My spa cover was fraying with the stitches around the edges coming loose (duct tape was not the solution to address the issue) but it was still good for the most part. This cover allowed me to extend the life of the actual spa cover and avoid that replacement expense. It also looks really nice. I’m in the northeast and in the winter I was covering the spa with a tarp to make it easy to pull the snow off of it. This cover fits better and will do the same job and actually make it easier for me because I don’t feel I need to have to tie down a tarp. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It’s easy to put on and takeoff and covers it perfectly.

Excellent cover. Easy to use. Protects my tub cover from elements. Also helped keep heat from escaping during polar vortex since it hung down side of tub.

Highly recommend. Great protection for my hot tub cover. I had rain leak in a couple places on my cover. This totally took care of that . Will give me many more years with the expensive cover not getting water logged. Easy to open hot tub. It folds back with the cover lift & seamlessly back on. Fit was perfect. Had extremely high winds & it stayed snug.

Excellent cover. Couldn’t be happier with this cover. My hot tub is rectangular at 88x80, I ordered the next rectangular size up from that, and it’s easy to get on but not loose either. Very happy. Also it is actually water proof. After a day of rain, my actual cover below is dry. I need to replace my actual hot tub cover at some point, but I replaced the poly so it insulates the hot tub perfectly. And really this cover for the cover should be used to protect the actual cover from sun and weather. Also due to its 18 inches sides, and good straps it prevents wind from getting to the cover.

This product is exactly as described. Very neat design and easy to take on & off. It will be interesting to see how this product withstands the summer sun, but so far so good.

This cover although I have had it for one week so far has impressed me with its weather protection. We have had strong winds and heavy rain in the last few days, and it hasn't budged or allowed any water through. It is a strong and durable looking cover, and I like the extra long skirt and fastening around the hot tub. This helps a lot with any strong winds to keep the cover secured. Also nice is the zipped corner sections that allow you to lift one end of the cover for access to the main tub cover without having to remove the entire cover itself. I had a cheaper cover previously that claimed it was weatherproof, but it only lasted 10 months after ripping with no water resistance and constantly kept flying off. This iBirdie cover however (at only £25 more than my previous inferior cover) is much much better and I have high hopes it will last. I will update later with my findings.
