My only real criticism is the use of "simply" et al - if a procedure is simple it will be self-evident, if not, the term will annoy. Apart from that, easy reading and excellent instruction. Review: As good a way to learn as any - A great book to learn the guitar. I'm learning lots about chord changes and tabs, alongside some tab books of songs I really like. Readable text, small steps, and video links on the net all help. You won't be Iommi in a week, but this book will (hopefully) get you there. As good a way to learn as any
A great book to learn the guitar. I'm learning lots about chord changes and tabs, alongside some tab books of songs I really like. Readable text, small steps, and video links on the net all help. Great booj foe beginners or intermediate
Very helpful. Shame then kindle edition does not have live Web links to the videos (hence 4 stars)

Good purchase
Fast delivery. This book is just what I expected it to be. Well presented and easy to follow - even for somebody like me!

It’s alright
This has great reviews, and I’m sure it’s good, but not good enough to keep me interested in reading it. I found I was better off just going the through the Russ Shipton guitar books and finding my way around the songs. Gradually making progress on the tougher ones while getting better at the easier ones. Maybe I’ll get back into and learn something more than I could by just playing.. but I don’t really feel thsts happened yet.

Great book at a great price.
Great book and arrived fast. Pleased as pie as I can now play 3 chords on the guitar that I got for Christmas, and know how to tune it now. It's humourous whilst being incredibly informative, and I like the additional extras/help available via the website too. So value money too.

It helps learn a bit of everything and every style without delving too much into details, great "cover all" type of book, sadly enough most songs they use as examples are american/british so you can't really relate to most of their example if you're not familiar with these cultures. Still a great book if you want to start guitar and it can also teach you about what to look for when buying one, the gear,...
