I bought this to replace the discontinued Pore Refining Solutions as recommended by Clinique. This primer is nothing like the profuct it replaced. May be ok as a primer, but does nothing for minimizing pores. Happy Amazon allowed the return.

I think this is all marketing by calling it Even Better. The original Pore Refining Solutions in the small green tube was like gold, and this stuff just feels gross and slippery. I’m pretty certain It’s named this way to make us think it’s better when it isn’t.

Highly recommend this water based primer. It works best when paired with water based foundations.

Works well to minimize large pores. Use after cleansing and drying skin & before applying foundation.

For anyone hoping this product will equally replace Clinique’s pore refining solutions instant perfector, sadly, there is no comparison. This is a gel that does nothing to minimize the look of large pores. I don’t understand why they discontinued an excellent product and replaced it with this inferior product. I returned mine after giving it a few tries, alone and with makeup. Worthless.
