Poor Quality
I was disappointed in the quality of the product. Very poor quality inside & out. There was no x-mas tree inside. Also, there was no date on the house & there was a firehouse already in the series. There are so many other options out there, like a craft store, fabric store, old time restaurants, other Victorian houses. The only reason I bought it was because I have the series since 1984, might reconsider next year.

Hallmark houses forming a small town
Okay, let’s get real. Every year, my daughter-in-law needs this Hallmark Holiday House ornament. Not “wants,” needs. It’s practically a holiday emergency at this point. If she doesn’t get it, I’m pretty sure Christmas itself might be canceled. I mean, how else will she decorate her tree and live out her festive dreams of having the most perfectly curated, Pinterest-worthy holiday decor? This ornament is basically the status symbol of the Christmas season. If you don’t have it, are you even celebrating? Forget the presents, the stockings, the food. The true meaning of Christmas is seeing that little house glimmering on the tree, representing the pinnacle of holiday home decor that only Hallmark can deliver. Now, every year, without fail, she drops hints that are subtle as a sledgehammer. "Oh, I just love how the hallmark houses are sitting by the mantle with such care, Mom!" or "I wonder what this year’s house will look like..." It’s almost like a nonverbal contract at this point. The ornament is a gift she’d never say no to—because she’s already planning where it will go in her collection. The way she lights up when she gets it? Priceless. She has a whole shelf, specifically dedicated to this yearly ritual, where each little house holds a spot in the family Christmas lore. I might not get her a present for the rest of the year, but as long as I get the Hallmark house, we’re good. So, Hallmark, consider this a yearly subscription for my daughter-in-law’s happiness. You’ve got a loyal customer. I’ll just be over here making sure she doesn’t find out where I hide it before Christmas.

At 2:55 am all I can say is ADORABLE!!
I've been getting these for both of my daughters for their whole lives, (36 & 34 yrs. now). OR to be very honest, if they've only been 'out' for 30 yrs ~ then I claim that #. I do know that they have never needed fixing, or painting, ~ all they need is a bit of washing down ~ yup, under water 💦. Now Hallmark will probably say not to clean them under water, but I squirt them down with a very mild cleaner & rinse them down & they have never needed to go to a 'doll hospital' (yes, they DO exist!!) (Or DID). I'm not going to "recommend" doing what I do, all I can say is after being wrapped in tissue paper OR if you have the box, use that ~ after being 'kept clean' for approx. 10 mos a year, even I would need washing down every few yrs!! ENJOY!! & Enjoy seeing your children's faces, or your own for that matter ~ when they're being opened!!! It is now 3:13 am!!! And I stayed awake for y'all 😊😁 gladly!!
