DLLES IN Knirrinf Machine GK-370 (international version no warranty)

Came packed well. I have not used it yet but can't wait! Instructions in Japanese but plenty of instructions and help on YouTube. Thank you. Update; I have used it now and I LOVE LOVE it. Easy to use and very sturdy and well made. Knits beautifully. I can see no reason this machine should get any negative reviews. I went to Youtube and found many sites for this machine and for the KL150 studio 150 needle machine and other than gk-370 having 50 less needles they are exactly the same machine. Instructions can be used for both machines.

This was shipped extremely quickly and was packaged very well. Is everything in Japanese? Yes but if you have the internet, which I’m guessing you do since you are shopping on Amazon, you can take a picture of the instructions and Google will translate it for you. I unpacked the machine and set it up and after translating the instructions, I did a test gauge swatch in less than 30 minutes from unpacking to measuring the swatch. It knitted beautifully. Once you have it setup go to YouTube and search for LK-150 tutorials. Before you know it you will have all the knowledge you need to use this knitting machine and will be making beautiful things. Google translate isn’t perfect but it’s good enough to get you started. I have attached a few translated pictures. I did also receive the DVD. At this price, this was an excellent buy. The pictures people uploaded showing it doesn’t work, are actually showing you that they don’t have the tension set correctly. It takes a little experimenting to find the right tension when you first start using any knitting. This is why you always do a test swatch. Every skein of yarn is different even if they are labeled as the same weight.

Definitely look upSome how to videos but easy to use once you get the hang of it. I’ve had it less than a day and have already made 2 baby blankets and starting some cotton towels Good price and works good so far.

I purchased this for my mother and she has been enjoying it! She said it was easy to figure it out. Everything is in Japanese though, so you may need to use google translate if you do not read the language.

Although the instructions are in Japanese, the instructional dvd provides all of the instructions I need.

I had to fit this into a suitcase so I picked this. This has 100 needles, basic carriage and a yarn feeding mechanism. It knits beautifully. I wanted this as a more sophisticated tool over sentro 48 and it is for sure a step up. Do not worry about the instructions, which can be easily translated to English via Google Translate. Just go to you tube and watch hundreds of tutorials for knitting machines, specifically lk150. This is not identical to Lk150 but you will get the idea and most times you can revise the pattern or practice techniques shown without any issues. I knitted the hat in the picture within the first week. Great value for money. I am really looking forward to knitting many projects on this little beast.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It was bought as a gift for me and unfortunately I wasn't able to use it until now. I'm following the instructions as well as I can since the instruction book is ONLY in Japanese and no matter what I do it gets caught on the yarn and I'm scared to push more and potentially break it. I have the tension set right, I've watched multiple videos online and nothing is working properly. I'm starting to think I was sent a defective unit but unfortunately the return window would be long closed by now. Not worth the money. Others said they got a DVD to follow along with, I did not get such DVD.
