Good quality, works well with the Dsub connectors I bought it for. It does the 4 dimple type crimp that such pins use and at way lower cost than the alternative expensive tool. Recommended.

After using $$$ crimpers that belong to an A&P friend, I wanted a pair for myself. These are 1/8 the price, but for my needs have worked perfectly. Solid crimps that leave no wiggle on the connection. You may have to adjust the crimp force a little as they don't have different settings like the high end crimper. All in all a very good value and addition to the tool box.

I found it difficult to get successful crimps on #26 gauge stranded wire in round pins like JRready ST6239 Gold Plate Crimp contacts. The three jaws in the crimper look like they are not closing completely enough to make the required pressure on the pin.

Worked perfectly on my project, crimping to 24 AWG wiring harness. Tool received promptly after ordering.
