Keeps your bait in place and saves you money!
This stuff is great for keeping bait on a hook! I use it mainly for wrapping sardines or shrimp when fishing for salmon and steelhead and it's terrific. It saves you money because instead of having to replace your bait every cast, it stays in place until you catch a fish, or decide to remove it and put fresh bait on. You can usually use the same piece several times too if you are careful. The second thing I use this for is making yarn balls for drift fishing (see picture). They are easy to make and very effective for salmon and steelhead fishing. There are videos on YouTube that show you how to make them if you're interested.

Holds Chicken Liver on Hook
I bought this for my catfishing bait, chicken liver. I am use to hooking the liver on the hook, as best you can and tossing it into the water, with just enough force to get it out there but not too hard, as the chicken liver could come off. I love how easy this is to put on the bait and hook, and it locks the liver onto the hook. You don't have to tie it on, you just wrap it around the bait a few times, and like magic it holds. I can cast my line as hard as I want with no fear of the bait coming of in the air. A must for anyone wanting to hold soft baits onto their hook.

the hype is justified. this products works fantastic. holds the bait on and doesn't let it get torn off by little fish. can cast multiple times and not lose my bait.

Way too thick to be useful for salmon fishing. Not the stretch thread found in stores for roe bags. Would not buy again..
