Quality
It may be pricey but you can definitely tell where that extra money went. Has quality you can feel in the materials and craftsmanship. The layout is great with plenty of space and organization inside. There are a couple quips I have: 1. The zipper pulls for the main compartment are too small. The size is fine for secondary pockets but for the main they should be bigger to facilitate quick access. 2. The pen holder is located right above two main pockets. If you have a pen there it blocks access to the pockets. 3. The strap is a single piece with no buckle. This means you will always have to remove the bag over your head. These are by no means deal breakers but are all the more noticeable because the rest of the bag is top notch. I didn’t include price as a con because the cost is offset by the knowledge that this thing should last years and years.

Excellent, well built, attractive tech case
I got this tech case to use with a new backpack that I recently bought. The intent was to consolidate all of my gear like chargers, cables, and power banks into one case, as well as carry a kindle, nintendo, and earbuds while traveling. Basically I want to be able to pull this tech case out of my backpack on the plane and have everything I might need there, and then just slide it back into the backpack when deplaning. It's perfect for that. The handle on the back makes it easy to grab, and the XPAC material is somewhat slick and allows for really easily sliding the case in and out of the main compartment of the bag. I currently have a different sling that I travel with, but after handling this Alpaka tech case I think I can re arrange a few things when I get to my destination and use this as my sling when I reach my destination. The only thing I'd want is a different strap that has a quick release, and this case will easily accommodate that. The orange interior is provides great hi viz without being obnoxiously bright. The dark green / olive exterior and texture to the xpac feels good in the hand and provides some water resistance. The stitching, craftsmanship, and material quality is all top notch. I like that the bag easily stands upright on its own when opened and closed, even when fully loaded. The only downside to this tech case is that when fully opened, there are little gaps between the sides and the bottom that something tiny in the main compartment could inadvertently slip out of. That being said, there is a zippered pouch in the center that tiny things should be in, anyway, so this isn't a problem for me - but just be aware. Overall this is a top tier tech pouch. I looked far and wide for the best solution and landed on this - it hits all the right notes for me with the attractive XPAC exterior, high viz interior, 2.5L capacity and squared shape.

2-in-1 Great Tech Pouch & Sling
I was recently looking for a tech pouch for daily use and travel and after ordering several pouches this Alpaka Element Tech Pouch was the clear winner. The organization was great and spacious, I was able to fit all my cables, mouse, laptop charger, USB, phone charger, doggie without a problem and I still haven't used the outside pocket. The bonus and one of the clear advantages of this pouch is that it doubles as a sling which is great for traveling. The xpack material and aqua guard ykk zippers malke the pouch look super speak and high end, plus waterproof. This was my first alpaka product and if everything they have is made this good, they just gained a new fan.

Amazing but a little big...
This is the perfect EDC bag. It's really easy to fit all you need in its well-organized layout But... I will say it's a little big for me. I'm not really tall so it takes up a good portion of my chest. Great for maybe a long trip or the airport. But to carry it every day wouldn't work for me. It also slides if you have anything heavy like an iPhone 14 Max. That's why I rated it at 4 stars. It's made really well and will last a long time just too big for me as an EDC bag. I'd say go with the Tech Mini if you are worried about the size.

A little bit bigger than I was expecting - but perfect size and well constructed
Using as my edc bag for work - power bank, cables, pens, flashlight, small tool kit, first aid, spare glasses, etc. Now when I leave the house I just grab my Alpaka and toss it in my backpack and I'm sure I have everything I might need during the day (remote computer work - coffee shops, shared work spaces, client locations). Strongly considering a second one to go in the console of my car. The bag is really well made and of high quality components. - lots of little details that make it pretty unique - all the pockets, zipped sections, dividers, elastic retainers, make keeping a lot of little things organized in a compact and secure manner achievable. Most other bags I've tried don't quite have enough spots for things and everything ends up jammed in one main compartment. Not the Alpaka.

I feel pretty with my tech purse
I purchased this bag as a separate daily driver from my work IT bag to consolidate all my personal items. I found myself constantly filling either my work bag or my pockets with my various tech accessories. This bag houses a battery bank in each side pouch, tweezers, clippers, several power cables, my iPad Mini 7 (w/ ESR folio and Apple Pencil attached), and various other items. I'm now using it for virtually everything I carry, as it's incredibly convenient and not flashy at all, except for the orange inside which is fantastic for finding things. The magnetic buckle is particularly useful when I'm already wearing bulky coats or carrying other bags as I can simply unbuckle, wrap it around myself, and buckle it back in. My only complaint is that the cable pass-through from the main pocket to the front pocket is somewhat restrictive. Threading cables through requires navigating not only a small opening but also an awkward angle due to fabric positioned directly behind the hole. I've found that angling the cable from the top and feeding it downward works better than pushing it straight through. That being said, if I ever need a replacement or a second tech bag, I'll definitely purchase another one of these.

Excellent As Expected
The Alpaka Elements Tech Case Mini was exactly what I was looking for. Not too big, not too small. Great for travel and organization. I love that it opens up easier than the sling version. This can also be used as a sling. I just wish Amazon sold the optional pro strap. It’s sold out at the Alpaka website. Best part though is build quality and materials. The XPAC is light, durable, and waterproof. To improve it, Alpaka should add a zip pocket on the back just like their sling.

Excellent tech and edc bag!
Ordered this after seeing reviews on youtube. I wanted a compact sling/crossbody bag with organization and security features. It is the perfect size to act as an edc for me, as well as to hold tech items when needed. An excellent unisex sling/crossbody bag and is lightweight, super durable, has anti-theft features (reinforced canvas to prevent slashing), lots of convenient and organized storage pockets, and fantastic contrasting orange lining which makes finding things a breeze. So much packed into one little bag! Totally worth the money, and I'm very impressed (which does not happen often!).
