Really useful mat. I'd recently purchased an expensive piece of oilcloth for my kitchen table. I was horrified to discover that a warm bowl had left a ring mark on the cloth, which despite all of my efforts, refused to shift. I bought these to protect the oilcloth. They are a good thickness--I particularly like the fact that they're easy to clean, unlike some of the others that are available. The colour is fabulous and the size is very convenient.

This is my second order as they are so useful. When my draining board is full of clean washing up, which is left to drain dry, I use one or two of these on my kitchen worktop (with slightly “bumpy” side facing up) as extra draining board space. Being so small makes them versatile and each one takes up little space. Obviously easy to clean and can be left to dry. One of these might be room for a mug and glass left to drain dry after being washed. Or could be used for cutlery holder containing just-washed cutlery while it is draining dry. I will also use as trivets for hot pans and dishes. They each have a hole for hanging on a hook if wished. All sorts of potential uses!

I purchased these after having a new kitchen put in and didn’t want my worktop being ruined. Lovely bright colours ( I bought the green then liked them so much I ordered the pink ). Very practical, can be used to put dirty serving utensils on or hot pots etc on. Non slip, I might even buy another colour.

These are so brilliant. Great colour and have so many uses!! We have put stone into our kitchen so I use these as a spoon rest, pot holder, coaster for boiling water, and I read that they are great at jar opening too.

does the job but tore fairly easily and actually burnt my hands lifting a tray out of the oven. i use them as trivets but no longer as an extra oven glove. you might want to find something a bit thicker and heavier duty

Love those Trivets! We use them as coasters, spoon rest and sometimes pan holders. They're nice soft, just great to put the hot pan to rest on them, and I love the colour too - true to the picture. Definitely recommend!

Brilliant trivet/pads - they are really all purpose. They are soft and flexible enough to fold around a dish, not too bulky. The small square means they don't take up much room to store and sit proud of the rather expensive worktop. Great idea and arrived very quickly from seller thanks

Die Untersetzer haben nicht nur eine freundliche, ansprechende Farbe, sondern eignen sich gleichermaßen als Topflappen, Untersetzer für heiße Töpfe oder rutschfeste Minimatte für alles, was standsicher bleiben soll. Gegenüber anderen Modellen gefällt mir hier die Oberflächenstruktur viel besser, sie sind somit auch besser zu reinigen. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen!

These silicon mats are not thick enough to pull heavy items out of the oven, they just don’t offer enough protection from the heat, but they are great for countless other tasks. I was in the kitchen baking a cake and in less than an hour I use the mats at least five times for five different tasks. I used it to open a jar, pulled the cookie tray from the oven, placed it under a stainless mixing bowl to keep it from sliding while I mixed, used it as a trivet for a hot bowl (ganache), and placed it between a turntable and cake plate to keep the plate from slipping off the turntable while I iced it. So this thing is truly a tool with many uses, and as an Amazon Lighting Deal it was a great price.
