Forged Accent 6-pc Travel Knife Set,Black

I was looking for a quality knife set to take overlanding, and this set fit the bill. I am used to using Henkels knives at home and now I have a beautiful set to take with me on the go. The knives are just as you would expect from Henkels. The set includes just the right number and style of knives to meet all my requirements while out camping. The wooden cutting board is very nice, thick, and solid. Much better than the plastic ones the majority of travel sets come with. The included sharpener is a nice touch as you will want to give the knives a quick pass over it before using.

These knives are protected when taken in a tote, camping or on a boat. Serve their purpose when picnicking, in the ski cabin, making microwave dinner in a hotel, doing a potluck, or meals on the boat!! So handy and will be well used. I will add a small camping towel to wipe after washing and a 5' scissor to make the set more usable. The men in our family are all cooks and travelers. They each will receive a set for Christmas!

This is a fantastic knife sent for RV, Camping etc. I got a great deal because of the discount I received from shopping on Amazon. The set only needs to add is kitchen shears and tongs. Which I added.

While camping, there are only a few knives that I require for food preparation and this kit covers my needs. I found them not as sharp as they could be upon opening, but that is easily remedied. The case is of quality and great for transporting the knives. I like that they have a sheath and are easily cleaned. I think this would be a good purchase for anyone requiring knives for travel, camping, small spaces, etc.

I haven’t used this yet outside of my home but I couldn’t wait to open it and check it out. It is a very nice well made travel bag, with slots for each knife, a pouch for the cutting board and knife sharpener. The blades are sharp, I tried them all and they live up to Henckls reputation for quality. The knives all came with sheaths, those are a bit on the cheap side though, surprisingly nit as well made as I would have expected. They are thin and open on the side, the knives don’t slide into them from the top but just cover the blade. One wasn’t on the blade at all in the box, and the largest knife was only partly sheathed. The cutting board is very solid, a nice piece of wood, not large, but it is the right size for the case. This will be great for use when going on a picnic/grilling outside of the home. Also for travel if we stay in a place with a kitchen, a lot of those type places have dull knives, these are sharp and in a very nicely made safe case. I am happy with this set. I have had Henckels knives before and used them for many years on a daily basis before they needed sharpening, I think these will too.
