Assemble completely until they click.
This is a great system. It does require a lot of batteries but works very well. We used it for Jeopardyat a church function. Tips: make sure you plug the controls all the way in until they click. I thought it didn't work but once I figured it out and pushed them all the way in, it worked very well. Also, be sure to take the batteries out when not in use. Batteries can corrode and damage the components.

Customer service
Product was defective. Amazon informed me that there was a year warranty on the Game Buzzer Joysticks 8 pack and connected me to the company. The company texted me and asked for a video of the issues. I made the videos and they will not deliver to that number. I don’t know if they blocked me or what. I tried several times. It does not say on my end that they failed. The company has not responded. I paid a lot for these out of my pocket for my classroom and my students and I are so disappointed. First one joystick did not buzz and two ports did not connect. After one use the console will not turn back on. Batteries are brand new from Amazon. Don’t buy this!! Or pick a different company! Amazon only allows one video per review so I can only send one here but I have one showing the console won’t turn on. Disappointed!!

You do need to make sure the LED clears before going on to the next game question.
I used them for our School of Religion (Jeopardy) game, and they worked perfectly for children who were bellyaching about who hit their buzzer first. There was NO problem knowing who actually did with the display telling you. I borrowed another type from a friend before splurging for my own, and it was quite difficult to tell b/c you can only focus on what you see first. This left no guessing/wondering. I also like that the children knew they didn't have to continuously hit a noisy buzzer for me to determine who was actually the first buzz-in.

These work well, but one flaw
These work exactly how described. However, I did not like that you had to wait 10 seconds for the next person to be able to buzz in. I bought these for a family game night, and the waiting between buzzes seemed never ending. I think the time could be shortened for that. Also, the buzzers are sooo loud with no volume control. However, it you hold it with your hand covering the speaker, it does quiet the buzz. Overall, this made game night more fun and easier to play trivia! I would have just liked those few changes

5-Star Service
I purchased DeWorld’s console and buzzer joy sticks game package for question and answer competitions at a senior citizen facility. The participants loved the ease and lightness of the joy stick buzzers. It made our games a huge success. I highly recommend this game package for people aged 5 to 95 years. An added bonus was the accommodating and friendly service of DeWorld’s employees. I give a big five star rating to this company and will buy from them again.

The good: The buttons on the buzzers have a decent feel to them and the buzzers themselves are a good size. The display on the console is bright, so you can clearly see who buzzed in first. That's it. There's nothing else good about this product. The bad: You're not getting what they told you (or showed you) you would get. The buzzers are not exactly what you see in the pictures or even what's in the INSTRUCTIONS. I guess this is what you get when you buy electronics made in China. As an example, the instructions state the buzzers have two speakers. Not true - each buzzer has one speaker (and thank God; because the sound is annoying). The instructions say "All buzzers will be locked out for 3 seconds. Once 3 seconds has passed, the console will unlock for new buzz-ins." Not true. Once the first buzzer presses their button, the console leaves that corresponding number on the display for 8 seconds. During those 8 seconds, all other buzzers are locked out. After those 8 seconds, the display clears and all buzzers are unlocked again (meaning you can now press the button on any buzzer, and again the first to buzz-in will be displayed). So, if buzzer #1 buzzed in, and had the wrong answer, you have to wait those 8 seconds or so to ask the question again to see if anybody else wants to buzz in. The sound the buzzers make borders on being obnoxious, and it's loud. Its like the sound you hear on family feud for a wrong answer. You cant change it, and (unlike what they advertise) all the buzzers make this same annoying sound. You can put tape over the small speaker on each buzzer- that will dampen the noise a little. Like others have mentioned, everything is battery operated, and all the battery compartments require you to unscrew a TINY screw to open or close them - whose idea was this? Again, you can use tape to keep the compartments closed, but now your buzzers Will start to look like, well, cheap trash with tape all over them. The cords are 3 ft long.... so it will be cramped unless you buy extensions. So it's made for 3 players, not 3 teams. The buzzers are made of thin, cheap feeling plastic. I strongly suggest you do not drop any of them. The button to turn on/off the console is not a "switch" - it's a pressure type button that sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Bottom line: Should you expect more for 50 bucks? Maybe not, who knows. If you're looking for these types of buzzers, your choices are limited (that's why you're here). But even for 50 bucks, I expected a little more. I didnt get it, and neither will you. Maybe a more pleasant chime when you buzz in? Maybe a button on the console to clear the display and unlock all buzzers? Maybe battery compartments that stay closed without a screw? Update: One of the buzzers started buzzing non-stop, by itself, without the button being pressed. I took a video of this happening and will add it to my review. I will also reach out to the seller, to see if they are willing to send me a new buzzer...... or I may just return the whole thing. 1 out of 5 stars.
