It came well boxed and vacuum sealed. The third pic is right after I unsealed it and unfolded it across the mattress. I didn’t force anything but took it slowly so I wouldn’t tear or damage it. It was fully opened within about 15 minutes. It did smell faintly of lavender but not for long. My normal sheets fit just fine and I slept so well last night. Normally I wake up with hip and shoulder pain, but not this morning! Highly recommend!!

Bought this to try to make a VERY uncomfortable futon bed in our guest room a little more comfortable for a visiting relative. The futon was so uncomfortable, hard, & lumpy, I wasn't sure ANYTHING would be enough. This topper is HEAVEN. Thick, dense, just the right amount of give & cushion. We want one for our own bed now! I am hypersensitive to smells, & there was surprisingly virtually no odor. It puffed up fully within about 36 hours. Good quality. We had no issue w/ any rips or tears or fragility at all either in unpacking, using, nor folding up to vacuum seal in a storage bag between uses. Highly recommend.

We bought a fancy custom bed - recommended by dr for back. Didn’t sleep for 6 months due to hip pain. Mattress was way to hard. With this pad I actually look forward to getting into bed. It’s been a month - I just hope it does t compress to much over time.
