I ordered these specifically because i needed to do a recording using brushes on a snare drum. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a pro set, simply because I won't use them very much or very often. They serve the purpose. I took a star off because the wires don't completely retract into the rubber sheath and a few of the wires had small bends in them that happened before coming into my possession. So, while I can't give them a 5 star review, if you need a set of brushes for very infrequent use, these will do the trick. They aren't pro quality, but for the price they are a good value.

These brushes feel nice in the hands. Not too heavy, not too light. Sweet sweeps sound nice as well. And the cloth carrying bag that comes with the brushes is great for those gigs where you'd be using brushes all the time. Great choice I made.

I play loud, so the band said to use these they work, but I like to feel the drums, it's in my soul. I still have these in small places, if not they eat me up. I like them. ffsalsa Frankie.

The sound of the brushes is pretty decent, and they are nice and lightweight. That being said, I was disappointed in this purchase because the description mentioned “comfortable rubber handles” multiple times. So, I was expecting something pliable and easy to grip. But no. These handles are hard, molded plastic and are very slippery and hard to hold for long periods of time

The drum brushes are sturdy, however, the way the grips on these brushes and the way they are twisted, make them a bit awkward and I wish I could move the handle under the rubber to accommodate my grip. Furthermore, when I opened them up, a few of the brushes are bent. Another OCD thing of mine. Other than that, they work, just a little awkward for me while playing.
