I use this for holding bits in my gunsmithing activities. Works great! Bits fit, magnet nice and strong!

Just as advertised and works great. I’m a Maintenance Engineer Technician at a medical device manufacturing company and needed this as a replacement to one I lost. I checked with Lowe’s, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and several other tool suppliers and no one had this as a stand alone socket. Very happy with this purchase, quality is very high, bits fit snug and secure, and works great with my 1/4” drive spinner handle and my micro ratchet. Definitely recommend.

Magnet is strong enough to hold what I would need it for. The box end fits snugly in my 1/4 Gearwrench ratchet. The hex end has a little play, about the same as my other 1/4 socket, and maybe a tad more than my bit holders.Magnet looks like it's an insert, might be a failure point. The rest of the socket looks good, so if the magnet falls out you still have a decent 1/4 socket.Does what I needed it for. Considering I paid $7 with free shipping for it. I'm perfectly happy with the quality I got.

Very simple tool that does its job well. Adapts a 1/4 hex bit to a 1/4 square drive ratchet/extension, etc. This is one of those tools that I might need once or twice a year, but when you need it, you need it! Great quality works well, and inexpensive. Would buy again!

My old but socket got loose and the bits kept falling out. I got this one and wish I got it a long time ago! The magnet is very strong and sucks the bit in and holds it great! The build quality of tekton is great, I love them! There isn’t much to say about a socket but this one is made from a nice steel and feels nice. The side is clearly etched on the side.

I was surprised how difficult it was to find a socket that works with a 1/4” ratchet and screw bits. This works well and the magnet power is perfectly fine for the application. If you are using a really long bit or heavy nut, the magnet may not be powerful enough to hold everything. I would buy again if needed.
