Unassembled, dirty, scratched
I ordered the SV-500 however unfortunately it arrived unassembled. The sound peg was rolling around inside, the bridge was loose in the case, the bow was not secured and the case was dirty both inside and out. There are also several scratches all over the body. If an assembled and pristine replacement could be sent to me I would consider this option, however I will be returning the model sent to me as I am very dissatisfied with the order.

As soon as you receive it go straight to a Luthier
I liked the case, it brings almost a royal type of theme. The green colour is astonishing. However the strings are not of high quality. I would say use them until they start to wear out, for me they wore out pretty quickly (3 weeks). I would recommend you buy Dominant strings for your violin as soon as the Prelude ones (that it comes with) start to wear out. The violin itself is beautiful and the sound is amazing and much better / sweater / warmer than my last beginner’s violin. However there was a lot of problems with it, some of the parts dismantled half way through setting up, so I had to take it to a luthier for an emergent “operation”. The luthier replaced some of the parts and said that they were of very poor quality, in which I believe because he is a well trusted Luthier that I know with +40 years of experience. He replaced the parts that need replacing and placed the soundpost in the violin (because it comes with the sound post rolling and not already fit). But other than that this violin is great for people who want to take the next step up from beginners violin 🎻 and be ready for something more challenging maybe up to grade 5. If you are a grade 6-8 you need something more powerful. Only buy this if you are grade 1-5 :)

Recommend!!!
Because I have tried a few different prices of violin of Amazon’s. I strongly recommend to beginners to buy this one. Good quality and the best sound of violin (Amazon’s) so far.
