Good device, works great with Hubitat
I have quite a lot of Sonoff devices connected to several Hubitat hubs. These temp/humidity display sensors connected and functions seamlessly as expected. The screen is a decent size, is fairly clear and legible. I do wish the characters were a tiny bit thicker, but it’s not a problem. The screen surface can reflect quite a bit of light, but placement of the device can help with that. If the last two statements are a bigger deal for you, I recommend looking at the similar device by ThirdReality instead. Mounting options for this Sonoff device are great. Both the device and supplemental “dock” are magnetic. Using the dock to magnetically attach it to something allows you to remove it and place it somewhere else quickly. We just have the device itself magnetically attached to the side of a fridge. The dock comes with 3M tape so that could be used too. The kickstand swings down from the top of the device, it works well but has just one real position setting, but because it swings down you can’t really angle the device more vertical. This isn’t a big issue but it would help address some of the reflectiveness of screen. As far as accuracy is concerned, it has been pretty accurate based on my limited testing. I tested it for over a week of it sitting right next to the similar ThirdReality device and an old dumb temp/humidity display. All three were within a degree and humidity percentage of each other. If one was able to accurately calibrate it or had more advanced sensors, offsets could easily be added in whatever smart hub is used. When I finally placed the device in its final location, the temp and humidity updated fairly quickly both in Hubitat and on the display.

Works well
Big clear display and connects well with my Ziggee over ZHA dongle. It’s connected via a router on my mesh. Accurate readings measured with a thermostat. Took a few moments to figure out how to switch units.

SmarttThings integration is very good
The most important thing to me was how easy it is to hook up to SmartThings. I got this because someone on forums had recommended it because it is a Zigbee protocol device. Most time Zigbee devices can just be scanned for within SmartThings and you don't need to download any other special app. That was the case here although it was a bit of a puzzle on how to initiate pairing. It didn't actually say how in the little user booklet that has absolutely tiny writing in it in many languages. I had to find the manual online. It's such a simple thing why don't they just put that in large letters right in the front of the manual. All you really need to know on this thing is that you pull off the film so that the battery inside engages, then press the tiny little button on the back for about 5 seconds until the little broadcast icon starts flashing on the display. Then initiate a scan in SmartThings and it should pair pretty quickly and start showing the temperature and humidity within SmartThings. The other use of the button which is also not in the manual is that if you click it once it will change from C to F. Again basic basic stuff and it's not in the stupid little booklet they send, which really only tells you to go download their app which you don't really need. So that's why I'm deducting one star. I like the fact that this has a clear LCD display that's always on. A lot of these little units are just blank white plastic boxes. Accuracy is okay. It reads maybe 1° higher than my trusty mercury thermometer. I think it's more accurate than the little black thermometer unit shown in the photo. In SmartThings it responds perfectly and you can use it as a condition for actions. You can also see a nice graph of the temperature over hours and days. Nice. So what I really wanted to do with this was put it in my living room and have it turn on the air conditioning which is on a smart plug, during a certain portion of the afternoon, only if the temperature gets above for example 77F. My AC unit is perfectly safe to use turning it on and off with the main supply power. So: create a new SmartThings routine, as an IF precondition, set this sensor as equal to or greater than 77F. Then set the second IF main condition as a time range say 1pm to 6pm. THEN: turn on AC smart switch. If it never reaches 77F the AC won't come on. If it doesn't reach 77 until 3:30pm, it will only come on at that point. It works well, very very simple but effective. One could also set it to turn off in an evening time range as well if it reaches a certain temperature. But I have not needed to do that yet here in summer, since I always turn it off at sundown regardless and open the windows. This AC has a heat pump so I plan to use it in the winter too with a low limit temperature using the sensor. So this is maybe not as fancy as using something like a nest thermostat, but on the other hand it's very versatile, simple, cheap, and I can just use Smartthings alone, but also still turn it on and off with a Google home command.

Does exactly what they claim it does
Using with Home Assistant; the devices paired quickly and easily, and with a stable connection. They seem to be relatively accurate and responsive both in terms of temperature and humidity measurements, reporting whenever there is a change; though it's not like I have calibrated instruments to compare them to. The screen is clear and easy to read, and they'd be worthy even without the Zigbee functionality, as dumb temperature displays. Can't speak to long term battery or longevity; however the devices are still reporting 100% a few weeks in; if the battery lasts a couple years that would be more than fair. I do like that there are multiple ways to display them: using the included self adhesive cradle, or the built in kickstand. They look clean and fit in with modern design. All in, they're a good value, and I plan to buy more again.

It works
Received my temp sensor last night. It works as intended. However, it was either preused or it sat on a shelf for a very, very long time. I removed the plastic tab that keeps the battery disconnected until purchase and the battery is almost dead. The screen randomly dims (its not backlit) so i assume a poor connection internally.

Works Great with Smarthings!
Worked perfectly with my Samsung Smarthings! Connected to Smarthings, created a routine to turn on a smart plug for my garage heater, and it worked effortlessly. Now, it turns it on and off per my temperature requirements. Couldn’t get Alexa with the built in temperature sensor to do this consistently. But this thing works great!

Don't waste your time
No way to connect to alexa. I have an echo dot max which has a zigbee hub/bridge internally. But it won't connect. The ewelink app won't even connect the sensor because it states it requires a zigbee hub/bridge to connect. Ive tried for many hours during many days. I wasted time. If there was a way to connect it... id keep them. But not even SONOFF has a support line i can call to get help.

Como todo “termostato” tiene su grado centígrado de fallo.
