Great balm with a good scent

I have using Rocky Mountain Barber (Cedarwood & Bamboo) and Mountaineer (WV Timber) products and this is a little different in scent. Not so much wood but a slight clean musky scent. I like it and my wife loves it. Not too oily and the scent lasts a while during the day. Good hold and styling properties a well. Will definitely buy it again.

I've tried quite a few beard balms and this one meets my needs. The consistency is just firm enough to offer a decent amount of hold without making me feel like I'm wearing a mask, while the scent is much appreciated by my spouse (and me). It doesn't have a real greasy feel that I've found with some other balms and is a white color as opposed to some of the yellowish ones which can add an unhealthy color to a grey beard.

So I originally bought this beard balm back when it was the yellow bees wax based version and loved everything about it, especially the smell/scent.After a couple of formula changes, it really was terrible and the QC was bad. It went from a great smell and application to smelling like Lemon Pledge! It was awful and I gave up on the product line. Same thing happened to their beard oil (lemon pledge scent).I decided to give it a shot again to see if they had gotten things sorted out and I am pleased to say that the scent is back to being great! Very happy I tried it again.Now if they could only get the beard oil sorted back out I'd be happy!

It goes away to fast

I will ensure that he never runs out of this product. He is a man's man and has the beard you are picturing. I know there are tons of options out there for beard products but this stuff is amazing. When he uses it I can't stay away! The scent is subtle, rugged but just a little sweet- intoxicating! Not greasy at all and I don't break out from it either! Amazing!

I really could not tollrate the fragrance of the Lumber Prince version. It smells like pungent, cheap cologne, not a masculine, woody scent as I expected. Very disappointed.

When I first opened this beard balm, I did not think it was going to work. It's super light and melts quicker than butter on my fingers. I really like the smell so I figured that at the very least I would smell nice, but lumber prince tamed the flyaways and my beard was still nice and shapely at the end of the day. I really thought a softer beard would be problematically floofy but now I have a soft and controlled beard.Follow the directions and apply to a damp beard.
