We’re not car experts at all, but this Harpy Eagle oil change pump made us feel like pros. We have a EV and a regular gas car that does. This kit worked great on our gas car — super easy to set up and use. The instructions were very clear, and we loved that everything came ready to go right out of the box. It pumped the oil out fast and clean with zero mess. Honestly, we were nervous to try something like this on our own, but now we’ll never go back to paying for oil changes. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to save money and do it themselves — even if you’ve never done it before!

Great product, works as advertised, I use it in warm climate so oil being pumped is warm enough to flow easily (pump out 7-8qts in 10 min or less), way better than vacuum type pumps.

1. The pump is too slow, but it might be broken.2. Used once and now will not provide enough suction to extract anything.3. Power comes from two cables that you MUST connect to your car battery. If your battery is in the trunk, like in German cars, this can be an obstacle.4. Power connectors broke with little to no use.5. The case is cheap, and the tabs fall offAvoid this product.

The media could not be loaded. I got this oil pump to replace my old cheap plastic oil pump. I was really impressed by the build quality, and how neat the packaging looks. It is super easy and convenient to store. I was pleasantly surprised when the intake tube and out tube was equipped with a removable cap. So after the oil change you can close the tubes, put everything back and nothing will leak. It works much faster than any other ones I used before. And it is pretty durable. An important thing to remember is, first time using the pump, it is good to prime it.(put the tube into the dipstick channel, and suck the air out of the out tube till you see oil come to the pump. Or squeeze a little oil thru the tube till it reaches the pump.) it will help create suction. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase.

It is a good pump. It runs slow at 12 volts, not tried it at 24v yet. It also runs hot, I put a house fan on mine. The pickup 6mm/1/4" tube was about 12 inches/26mm too short, but I had some irrigation tube that is the exact same size. Note that my car uses more oil than your average car, it's a 2015 SL400 Benz. So the tube might be a good length for 90% of the cars, it is long enough for my 2008 Prius.So, they could improve this pump by:Offer a household 120v AC to 12v DC adapter. I used my battery charger to power mine as the Benz battery is in the trunk.Make the pickup tube 12 inches longer.Either include a fan or add some heat sink fins.The pros of this pump:Good case & instructionsThey include caps for the tubes so it does not leak all over your house.Not as loud as other pumps.While the speed is slow, it has never failed to extract 99% of my oil, both in transmission and oil pans. It works well for filling as well as extraction.It done not have problems if it runs dryOther pumps suffer from this, but this pumps seems OK if this happens.It is not the cheapest, but is well made and almost all metal. Other pumps have more plastic.I'm going to keep it and it will be my primary pump. It can be improved, but all of these small pumps have issues, at least this one seems rugged.Dave

My husband has a Mobile Mechanic Business and this keeps the messiness to a minimum when changing oil for customers. Highly recommend, very easy to use.

High quality pump. I modified it for Milwaukee Packout and powered by an M12 battery to make it totally portable. The pump comes with cords to attach on to a vehicle battery but they’re not long enough to do a transfer case or rear diff fluid change. This will allow me to be fast and portable. Idk exactly how fast it pumps but it does go quick. I’m a mechanic and use it for fluid changes with hard to reach fill plugs. It’s definitely increased my efficiency.

We used it one time and it stopped working got it to work again then it stopped working again.
