HornBlasters Sniper Electric Air Horn

Wonderful upgrade at an unbeatable price. Our huge full size long wheel base super duty sounded like a clown was hopelessly trying to get your attention. It never bothered us at first, until we started hauling an rv. People seem to think that it’s the most wise decision they have ever made in their lives to cut off or pull out in front of a big pickup truck hauling a big rig that requires a long distance to slow/stop. The days of trying to road rage at these imbeciles while not giggling at the seemingly hilarious clown horn are over. Now you can see the fear in the eyes of deer brained drivers that cut you off and put everyone’s lives in danger. They instantly realize they messed up and speed up when they hear the loud blast of sound coming from this sniper kit. It installed very easy with the supplied components. Only had to use my own soldering sticks as I elected to tap into the pre existing horn power. Went with horn blasters because they have a much higher standard of quality and their products always work great. The sound this horn creates is more of a Mac truck sound, and not a train horn, which was the desired effect we were going for. You can pair this with other kits that have the 3 smaller horns to achieve more of a train sound if that’s what your going for. This is loud enough, and gave our truck the masculinity it deserved from the factory.

This is great. I figured out how to mount it to the bumper using existing bolts and holes. didn't have to drill anything. Works great with Ford upfitter switches

I love the sound. However, engine compartments are often too cluttered to fit a big horn. I think most people are going to put this in front of their radiator since there's usually a nice big space there. That being said, it's in a position where it will be exposed to water/rain. Unless you wrap all the wiring locations with electrical tape, you'll have issues after several exposures to moisture. I think the design could be better in terms of hiding/protecting the wiring from moisture exposure.

Performs well

The sniper Single horn has big ship sound without paying $1000’s for the big ship horn arrangement. I bought it for my Buick wagon because it needs a big horn Benz. It’s a big boat. Smiles

Adds some real umph to the stock horn on my F350. Solid construction- comes with quality mounting hardware including rubber vibration insulators for the horn. (I fabricated several steel mounting plates for my installation based on the location I chose under the front of the truck. My goal was no drilling into the truck.) The relay wiring harness is set up for a stock horn replacement, so I had to modify it for my application using the Ford Upfitter Switch. Kudos to HornBlasters as I got a quick response from customer support to confirm my rewire plan. The Upfitter Switch allows me to use the stock horn and quickly add the "Sniper" with the flip of a switch! The sound from this single trumpet horn is loud enough to get other driver's attention. My kit didn't come with instructions included but had a QR code. That code took me to the main website. It would be better if the QR took the user to the specific product instructions in my opinion. Great value at this price point. This is a great addition to my truck as I tow a 40 ft 5th wheel in heavy traffic a lot through major cities.
