My cats don’t care for it. I crush it up and put it into their food and they’ll eat it that way. I won’t buy it again once gone. It does stink. Like a barn smell so I use gloves to handle it. I’m giving 5 stars because the Ingredients are great and I love the brand. My cats just don’t like it personally!

My cat absolutely loves the New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co. Meow freeze-dried green mussel treats. They’ve quickly become one of her favorite treats, and I like giving them to her as a special reward. The only downside for me is the packaging. The bag is very easy for pets to get into, and if my cat sees it, she will try to tear it open. I wish pet food companies would use sturdier bags or include a more secure container, because I don’t always have extra containers on hand. That’s the only reason the bag ended up with holes. One thing I’d recommend is portion control, especially for cats with sensitive stomachs. When I gave these treats too often in one week, it upset her stomach, so now I limit them and haven’t had any issues. Overall, these are high-quality treats, my cat loves them, and I’ll definitely be purchasing again — just with more careful storage and moderation.

I would have given this product 5 stars because: 1) I was excited to feed this to my cat 2) my cat smelled the bag and was also intrigued 3) I saw this in every tiktok and YouTube short and I said why not? However, I received it torn at the side and that makes anxious and now I’m concerned if I should feed this to my cat because the package was already opened. I can’t return it or anything, or even exchange it for an unopened one. Sadly I have to give this a 3 stars, because I can’t return an already opened treat and following safe food handling procedures, I can’t even feed this to my cat because it came already opened.

bought these on a whim and they have changed my cats lives for the better. heathy and they think it’s delicious. i would say its a great value for the money because it lasts multiple weeks and i use them as a food topper and treat! very easy to break for cats who needs smaller bites

They are extremely hard and weird. Cats didn’t like them at all, they seem to be literally rocks, and so they play with them rather than eating them. The package is also super low quality, I opened it and it teared apart. The expiration date was literally in a couple of months any ways. Straight to the trash can

My cats both love this! It does have an odor, think of being at the farm. It is not at all over powering and soap and water take care of it. My cats don't like to eat them whole. I break a few pieces down and soak in warm water to make it more like wet cat food.

My cats love these as a food topper. They have a warning on the bag about the smell and they were not kidding! They do smell very strong so I make sure to wash my hands well after handling them. I'm glad to be able to find healthy, reasonably priced treats for them.
