The item was a gift for an newly sworn in lawyer. She loved the thoughtfulness of a personalized item. I particularly liked the cherry version since cherry wood changes color as it ages for a light colored wood to a rich darker shade over time. Very professional looking, I have gotten a lot of compliments. It is a little darker than the one in the picture, but not much. The only thing I am not super crazy about is that it is glued on rather than nailed or screwed in. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this to a friend, especially for the price.
