iPhone 12/12 Pro screen replacement

Update: the screen separated from the frame (the frame that it came attached to) I was going to glue it back but the ribbon ripped and so now it’s useless. Returning. So disappointed. Original review: Works perfectly. The step by step video instructions helped tremendously to keep track of what I should be doing. The replacement is not hard at all, maybe just a bit tedious with all of the tiny screws. Touch and sensitivity are fine, colors are good. I needed nothing other than what was included in the box. A screen protector was included also. Hopefully I won’t need another screen but if I do I would definitely buy this one again.

So many choices on Amazon to buy a screen replacement. After reading some reviews on here I pulled the trigger on this specific seller. I wanted to replace a phone laying around (iPhone 12) and didn't want to spend alot to do so, however I didn't want something low quality. I am completely satisfied with this replacement and here's why. 1. Has a very great installation video. 2. Has the adhesive 3. The tools were great. 4. The screen doesn't even look like I spent $20 on it. 5. It doesn't really stick out. Here's some pointers if you go with this product. 1. I used a blow dryer to help with getting the broken screen off. It heats up the adhesive to help it come off easier. 2. The ring that comes on the suction cup is too thin and bends easily. I took the ring off my car keys and borrowed it so it wouldn't bend when I was trying to lift up the screen. 3. And lastly, do a good job of removing the old adhesive before you put the new adhesive in. I can only imagine some people having a bad experience trying to do this themselves and not cleaning the old adhesive out. I'm sure it will make a world a difference on how your new screen will lay in the phone. Good luck with the installing the screen if you're reading this. If you pay attention to the video and look at my tips, you'll get it done right.

I’ve installed many of these screens before, though not this particular one. Installation was very simple. It’s only about 9 screws. All of the connections on this replacement screen fit nice and snug. The ribbon cables clipped in with no issues. I actually used this as a teaching moment for one of my children so they would know how to properly handle electronics, that’s how easy this replacement is. Touch sensitivity was right where it needed to be, there were no dead spots on the screen and it booted first time. Where this screen really shines is that it looks better and sharper than some of the previous replacement screens I’ve used. This has a brightness and resolution much closer to a true Apple replacement. I kept the original screen that was cracked just to have a comparison when I do these replacements. This one is very good and I am very satisfied. One con that I would say for the kit is that it’s less packaging and tools than some of the other ones. A tweezers would be nice, but I didn’t even use one for this job. So I’m not holding it against the seller. You have everything you ‘need’ in the kit. The plastic clamshell that the screen comes in is very sturdy, and feel that it’s more than adequate to protect the screen. It’s a little tricky to separate so be careful you don’t accidentally throw the screen in the process. All in all, did what it needed to do, very happy.

I bought this product twice within two weeks thinking that I probably just got a defective screen when I initially bought it immediately after I bought it the screen only would stay on for three minutes and it would then turn completely pink and would turn off right after and then turn back on if my my phone was kept on a 100% battery it would do that through the course of it dying Due to the battery exhausting itself. I do not suggest you buy this. This manufacture is selling a bogus product buy somewhere else this should not be on Amazon at least not the iPhone 14 Pro Max screens that they have they are no good they do not work. They will waste your time having to purchase it. Wait for it and shipping and then have to return it just to have to use another Vendor I suggest you not buy it and that you use another vendor they do not work properly. Do not buy.

This is the second time I purchase a replacement screen and this screen quality is top line, it’s working perfectly with no issues whatsoever. I’ve been using it for a month and I didn’t receive anything from apple about the screen authenticity like I have with the previous one I purchased. Everything on the phone works normal from day one. No one can tell any difference from the original. The colors and the touch are perfect. The provided tools are good quality as well and all screw drivers actually work so you won’t stop and start looking for a screw driver bcs one did not work. They also have included a screen protector and the screen works completely fine when you have a protector on it not like other screens won’t respond with a protector installed.

Dropped phone and shattered both front and back. My phone screen went dark and I was quoted a few hundred $ to recover data. Put this screen on and I was able to access my phone and back everything up to the cloud. Great quality and very easy to assemble.

Super fragile accidentally dropped it not even an inch onto my nightstand and COMPLETELY shattered front camera is now damaged and I had a case and screen protector on it and it still shattered. The screen is now caving in. The screen was very good just SUPER fragile
