Short Review:It works, it's inexpensive, does not feel cheap, buy it.A little more details:I had been in the market for a "universal" charger for my growing collection of USB C devices. My latest being a Surface Go and a new Dell work laptop as well as a Galaxy Note 9. The main reason for the quest was to eliminate the need to carry around multiple chargers in an already cramped backpack. This charger fits the bill perfectly. It has plenty of power to charge up my Surface Go and Inspiron 13 7000 just as quick as their respective wall adapters and it also activates "fast charging" on my Note 9 ( I'm sure it would do the same on a S9 or S9+).Size, I can't say it's as small as my phones charger.. but maybe twice the size. It's lightweight but does not feel cheap. The cable length is enough to "reach" in most places that I have plugged it into but not so long it becomes bothersome. The USB C connecter offers a nice and tight "snap" when plugging into my phone and it feels secure and sturdy. I have been keeping an eye on temperature and as of now I have not experienced the charger get more than warm even when the i7 on the inspiron is pushing hard. Overall a excellent purchase - oh and I DID NOT get paid to write this or discount code or whatever people are getting now and days.

Updated after connecting with Nekteck Customer Support:It turns out the problem i faced was due to a defective item and nothing else. When i contacted their customer support they where very prompt in response & provided me with one of my life best customer support experience. Their staff, worked with me on validating the problem i face to identify the issue. Once they validated my problem, they where very helpful in replacing the defective piece with the better One. I got my replacement almost about 10 days back and so far things are very much. I see my MacBook charges pretty much within apple suggested time & this product works great.MY FINAL VERDICT : this is definitely for MAC BOOK Pro's and have already suggested to 2 off my friend and one of them have ordered itBASED on my current Support Experience, i would definitely buy things from Nektech####### (Below this line was Original View and turns out i was wrong.)Every since i upgrade my macbook pro 1 year back, i was looking for a spare charge that can come handy on those occasions where i carry the laptop in a sleeve. I was not comfortable with carrying the original charge on the sleeve as most of them don't hold chargers proper and replacing original charge is a huge cost. So i was searching for low cost 3rd party charger to solve my requirement. I found this charge thru a deals website and decided to give it a try since it cost less and had 45 W capacity which can be used for my Mac Book.Selling Point:##############- Cost- Capability of delivering 45 W at leastBuild Quality / Usage:######################I used this product in few occation and endup not using it any more :(.* There is definitely no complaints about how this product look and feels.* It come with a USB C cable which saves the hassle of buying a cable for few extra bucks* a friend of mine tried charging his galaxy s8 with this and said it worked good for himProblem / Concerns: (These problems were due to a defective piece i received. Once it was replaced there was No issue after that... Everything was smooth.)- Does not always provides 45W power- Due to above mentioned problem it does take super long time for charging a mac book pro.I would not suggest this charge to any one who is planning to use this with a MacBook Pro. In case you are planning to use it with macbook (or) other listed mobile device then its worth to try. This product do have CHOICE badge, but i believe it might be due to Macbook & mobile device.To be precise, this charge is not for the MacBook Pro.

I've had this charger for a while now, and I bought it to replace an OEM laptop charger that I lost. I've never had issues with any of the phones, tablet, laptops or other devices that I've plugged this into. Works well, activates fast charging whenever possible, and I've never had any charging issues or errors.I do wish the cord was longer. It's not short by any means, but from wall outlet to cable end, it's shorter than most OEM laptop chargers, especially the 2-piece ones that have the brick in the middle. Since the cable cannot be removed or replaced, and since it's already as long as it is, even only one more foot would be nice. As I use it to charge laptops mostly, I'm usually in a situation where a longer cord is nice.Aside from that one complaint, it's well worth the money. I keep my eyes open for this brand now, and it may be a new go-to brand for me... We'll see.

Charges my thinkpad t470 and huawei smartphone perfectly. I get the full 45 watts on my t470, and it charges faster than the provided charger. Only downside is that the cord isn't replaceable, but then again a new 6 foot usb c to usb c cable costs $10, whereas this entire set up is only $20.When I first got my usb-c devices usb-c was still the new kid on the block, and the only decent charger you could get was the $90 apple one. Glad that prices are finally dropping and reliable chargers are coming out.EDIT: the plug is also excellently shaped in that it's long instead of wide. A lot of stupid chargers are super wide and therefore occupy multiple outlets in a power strip or on a wall. This one is long and therefore it'll fit perfectly on either the bottom outlet or on any power stripEdit: half a year later. Still works fine, cord shows wear where it connects to the brick. Definitely a downside but I don't think it warrants a star deduction.
