When my order arrived, I immediately used the Neon Pink yarn for some of my crochet projects, like the fun freeze pop covers. Who knew that neon pink would pair well with black and light pink. Far out choice!

WHY THIS ONE?This is a reliable yarn made by the Hobby Lobby Co., called “I Love This Yarn” (ILTY). The color I ordered is called “Paint Party”. This brand gives you good value for your money, usually about 30% less that other similar brands. I love all of the many color choices!QUALITY, DESIGN & VALUE:• Quality – The yarn is consistently wound; I found no knots or tangles within the ball.• Design – I have ordered this yarn at various times throughout the year and its color and pattern is always consistent. What I ordered last month matches what I ordered this month. The brand has so many different colors to choose from!• Value – This yarn was purchased at $4.99 a skein, with 252 yards. The Red Heart Super Saver was between $8 – $10 for 364 yards. I feel that the ILTY Brand is a much better value.OVERALL:This is nice to crochet with, and the price point is very reasonable. I really like this yarn and would recommend it.

I found a pattern I liked and used this yarn that the pattern suggested.I'm okay with the yarn, but I think I would have chosen a softer yarn, since it's a blanket. I think most acrylic yarn are a bit scratchy.With that being said, I had no issues crocheting with this yarn. I wouldn't hesitate to use this yarn again.When completed I soaked the blanket in Luke warm water added hair conditioner to soften the yarn and I am perfectly happy with how it all turned out.So just remember ( if you don't know already) soaking your work in Luke warm water with added hair conditioner softens your work.I always do a color test with strands of yarn I used for my project.

As a beginner, this yarn is easy to work with and as you can see, makes good use for my products.
