Fast delivery and decent ingredients
This cake mix arrived quickly and was easy to make. The ingredients are decent compared to a lot of other mixes, and the cake turned out good overall. It’s not anything fancy, but it does what it’s supposed to do and tastes nice. I’d buy it again, especially for the convenience and quick delivery.

a great idea whose time has come - and this review goes for all her products - i'm too lazy to write a review for each.
I'm a label reader from way back. But I'm not a nut about it. It's important to me that packaged foods have no weird chemical ingredients, hydrogenated oils or trans fats. however, that's about as far as i go - i'm ok with sugar. whole wheat flour cakes and cookies are just awful - let's face it white flour makes better pastries - so i'm just fine with enriched white flower. Natural would be great - organic even better - but i don't really expect that. yet what a blessing it would be to get to the point where you could walk down any supermarket aisle and expect that what you pick up will have only good ingredients....it seems as if food manufacturers are starting to really try to offer more products with less synthetic ingredients. and that's to be applauded. we all know the less chemicals in our diet the healthier we will be - and it's cumulative. carcinogens are bad. we all know that now. enter miss jones and her crew. she's doing something great. i first read about her in my s.f. sunday paper. I bought her chocolate cake mix, white cake mix, chocolate frosting, vanilla frosting, and brownie mix. No bad chemicals. Everything was so easy to make and delicious. I bought cases of each because i like to have things in stock and have them on hand. they were so sweet to send me a "miss jones" spatula as a thank you gift. now to make a few suggestions to miss jones whom i hope keeps an eye on amazon too: the vanilla is just sweet. it needs some oomph some personality. i zested a few lemons and mixed it into both the vanilla cake and frosting - it was amazing! please suggest that on the labels. the chocolate cake mix...i added a half a bag os nestle chocolate chips. that was also amazing. the brownies i added a cup of chopped walnuts. but now for the frosting. it's not fun to spread on - needs to be more spreadable. i had to distribute small spoonfulls over the cooled cake and flatten them together with a wet spatula (thanks for which miss jones!) why does the worst criticism have to come last? because this IS a five star review. i am SO happy to have a clean ingredient, really good cake and brownie mix that is so easy to make. but the frosting is too waxy. the texture or "mouth feel" brings to mind crisco or maybe lard. don't get me wrong - it's still light years ahead of my having to make frosting from scratch. but i seem to remember from the days when i did bake a lot years ago (i even baked professionally). i remember old cook books featuring cake icing recipes that were mostly confectioner's sugar, butter, and milk (vanilla and a little salt of course) the texture was lovely and delicate. please miss jones check it out.

Delicious and worth it.
Tastes great. The cake was moist. It a little expensive for box cake but worth it in my mind. I love that it had limited ingredients and none of the bad preservatives or anything. Easy to make and baked up perfectly. Had no issues and will definitely buy again.

Easy and can be made completely dairy free!
Yummy, organic, dairy free - perfect! Pair with Miss Jones frosting and you’re in heaven. This was perfect for my daughter’s first birthday cake. She has a dairy allergy so I could use along with the Miss Jones frosting and the flavor and texture are perfection.

Makes good individual mug cake/brownies
I bought this to make mug chocolate cake/brownies. You just need to figure out the water consistency you need for a one minute microwave. I like that it's organic and gluten free. I thought that maybe it would have a top that resealed but it doesn't. Decent chocolate cake taste!

Great flavor and accommodating for many food allergies
I was searching for a cake mix that I could make for a friend of my son who has severe allergies. I made this mix without eggs or dairy for her. We had these cupcakes next to other cupcakes made from a common grocery store brand. Everyone who tried these agreed they tasted better! I look forward to ordering again and making with eggs so they won't be as crumbly. So tasty!
