I bought this pressure cooker last year, did not use it until this winter. I have used it three times. Each time i used it the cooker dripped water from the top of the handle. I heard it click into place. Brought it to pressure, when the timer went off there was a puddle on my cooker from the leak. This resulted in the food burning on the bottom. I had made sure there was plenty of liquid in the pan. But not over the fill mark. All three times this happened. I contacted Prestige, they asked was the seal cracked or perished! I wrote back and said it was a NEW pan so of course it was'nt. No reply so far. I am used to pressure cookers. My last one was a prestige and lasted 15 years.

I had send back the 4 litre pressure cooker to Amazon only because it proved too small for my requirement & because Amazon does not offer the 6 litre alternative I was obliged to order direct from Prestige. Saying that the reurn/refund through Amazon was handled with no problem & extremely quickly, so kudos where it belongs. However I would say if the 4 litre works & performs as well as the 6 litre the I have no hesitation in recommending. The pressure cooker being stainless steel worked perfectly on my induction hob. Had to watch it first time cooking to ensure I got the hob setting right to ensure a steady steam release but found that no problem. The cooking results were suburb. The only thing I would add is the 4 litre cooker when it arrived did not come c/w a trivet or separating basket where the 6 litre ditect from Prestige did. However these are easily & cheap to obtain & that's the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. I have in my time cooked using Tower & Kuhn models which are far more expensive but this Prestige cooker is old school in operation & far more easy to use than the alternatives I've previously used.

Not used it yet but it’s a good size my last pressure cooker lasted 30 years so time will tell but iam happy with my purchase

The cooker seems to be fine and function as intended. However, it did not come with a flat trivet or separator tray which are both needed for practical use and which are specifically mentioned in the recipe book that came with it. Presumably these used to be included but have been dropped to save cost as is so common these days. Hence low score.

No complaints whatsover with this pressure cooker. It does exactly what is expected. Easy to use. It has a long track record of reliability and good performance.

It does what it should do.

Cant find spares to replace any of the accessories. Its better, you have link to purchase all the accessories. My cooker cant be used, i need few parts.
