Love it - a pleasure to use
This has been an absolutely great laptop for me. It's plenty fast enough for normal use, I find 14" to be great for portability, the screen is nice and bright, the trackpad works great, they keyboard has a sensible layout and feels nice, there's pretty good port selection, and the overall look-and-feel are great. The included sleeve is a nice bonus as well. I already have a gaming desktop, so my main usage for this is when travelling, and sometimes if I'm not in my office it's pretty convenient to have something to poke around and shop or whatever with. I've also had good success remote streaming games from my primary system with it. I think the main thing here is to keep speed expectations in check - if you're a heavy PC user and looking for a primary computer, you may find the specs limiting here. It's very responsive under normal load, but it won't handle gaming or anything heavily performance-bound. The 8 GB of RAM might at some point be a limiting factor, but today it's plenty for normal usage. As a secondary PC or a primary for someone who's not doing much beyond the basics, I think it's plenty fast enough. The laptop is affordable but to me doesn't feel "cheap". Sure it's plastic construction, but it's very well laid-out. I haven't had any quibbles over the physical layout or construction, and if I'm being honest the performance is a bit more than I was expecting. For what it's worth I had far more complaints about my work-issued Dell workstation that costs 10 times this much. At the end of the day I think the laptop is easy to recommend so long as it's the class of PC you're in the market for; no compromises except heavy workstation/gaming performance you can't do at this price anyway.

Good working computer
This computer works great for working and studing, somelight gaming is allowed in it with its configurations, however do not expect much performance with bigger AA games. It will be laggy or maitg not run at all. I tried running Warframe, and performs OK at low setting, with some stutter here and there. Also tried running grounded, also performs ok at lower settings. The games that run good are the pixel ones, like Stardew Valley and the Menssager. Those do great. This is for people that like to play some games like that, but mainly needed for work and study. It is super lightweight and charger is slim and light also. Sound is good (not great) and connectivity is good. If you want heavy games to perform well and still want to do productivity, I recommend the Asus TUF, you will have to carry a heavier computer, but it will run recent AA games at high graphics and still be able to do home work

Great laptop, keyboard leaves a bit to be desired
Great laptop except the keyboard leaves a bit to be desired, in particular the space bar having to be more firmly pressed than normal, occasional keys sticking, plus the navigation keys (ie, home, end, pgup, & pgdn) require the "fn" key to be held down which usually isn't problematic unless you work with a lot of spreadsheets where these keys are critical. This can all be remedied with a supplemental keyboard, but that's not anything I wish to lug around. Bottom line, greate laptop at a great price.

Great work computer for a great price
I have had a Acer Chromebook since 2019 and have needed to upgrade for awhile. I recently got a new remote job that pretty much forced me to upgrade since the Chromebook had 2GB of RAM and almost no storage. This Acer has been great for the past month. I was looking for something with at least 8GB RAM and 256 or more memory. The speed of this computer has been wonderful. I can have multiple tabs going at once and have had no issues thus far. I have not loved Windows operating systems in the past, but this one isn't too bad. Once you get rid of Microsoft edge and use Google Chrome, it was back to business as usual for me. Perfect size for me, lightweight and easy to travel. The protective case it came with was a small, but nice bonus as well. Battery life hasn't been tested too specifically yet but I have easily worked for 3-4 hours off the charger and have had plenty of battery left. So I think it's going to be just fine in that regard. I've been told I can probably do some gaming with this computer but I haven't tried that yet, as I much rather use my PS5. All in all, this computer is plenty powerful for what I need. Zoom calls, research, multiple tabs open, Slack, ClickUp (productivity apps). Highly recommend at this price point.

Labtop
So far so good comparing it to on now 12-year-old laptop it runs fantastic it's fast battery life is fairly decent although on a note if you want to install another operating system like Linux or something else you have to go into the BIOS set a BIOS password so you can disable secure boot otherwise it'll just keep telling you boot failed also apparently steam holoISO has an issue with 7000 series processors as of writing this Linux does not have drivers for the network card so if you want to use Linux on it you'll need an external network connection whether it be wired or wireless. the labtop can be charged via the usb c port but you have to get a usb c power suply for it.

Disappointing Performance
I purchased this PC about 8 months ago and have only used it occasionally as I use it for travel. I did not expect it to perform well on demanding titles, but to perform okay on super light games like Stardew Valley and League of Legends. It gets about 10 fps on those titles and is completely unplayable. The keyboard quality is okay, it sort of feels cheap but in a way that is actually satisfying to me. It is super lightweight and perfect for travel in that sense - but if I can't game while on travel I will just use my phone. Would only recommend for web browser and streaming. Probably can't even run minesweeper. Side Note: The new naming convention from AMD stinks (not an Acer problem or this laptop). The processor sounds a lot newer and more capable than it is with the new convention, so buyer beware in that aspect. I should have coughed up more money for a 5/8700g.

Arrived on time. Computer takes a few minutes to set up, but they all do. Works find & is fast. Only thing & this is my fault for not doing enough research, it has a 15" screen which for me is a little small. I would have no problem buying this brand again just I would look for a larger screen. Nice computer!
