econscious Women's 100% Organic Cotton Short Sleeve Tee

This shirt is great! It's a decent thickness (not sheer, but not stuffy from being too thick.) It's modest, but still shaped well to the female body.I suffer from Multiple Chemical Sensitives, and I've found that clothing often gives me rashes. My new years resolution this year was to only buy new clothes made of natural fabrics (no polyester, rayon, acrylic, etc.) I wash my clothes in a fragrance and dye free plant-based non-toxic soap. I've bought both regular cotton clothing and organic cotton clothing, and I have to say that I definitely feel better in organic cotton. This shirt continues that trend. It's worth it!As for the size of this shirt:I posted a photo comparing a size Small St. John's Bay cotton shirt on top of this size medium shirt (both shirts were just washed and I noticed no shrinkage.) As you'll see, this shirt is only slightly larger. I would order one size up from what you normally wear. That said, I think ECOnscious's sizing chart is way better. I normally fit in size small clothes, but lots of women are much thinner than I am. Being a size medium does make more sense for me. I said this shirt is "somewhat small," but that's only compared to most other brands.As for the price:The St. John's Bay shirt in the photo was originally priced at $14 (I got it on sale for $9.) It's 100% cotton, made in Vietnam. This shirt is 100% organic cotton, made in Pakistan. I honestly don't know which country of origin is better, but I got this shirt for $13. So it's good organic cotton for cheaper than average non-organic cotton. Totally worth it!!

I have a terrible time trying to find basic T-shirts because everything shows the weight I carry in my midsection. I skeptically tried this one out and it is FANTASTIC! It is a more fitted tee than the Flowy ones I normally have to go for, but it fits in such a way that it skims next to all the areas I want to hide. The fit is amazing! I also love that it's a little feminine (not unisex!) and yet isn't too low cut or too short or super sheer. I wish this tee, or at least the white, was a bit thicker, but that's only because I can still see the outline of my bra under it. And compared to a lot of other tees out there it is on the thicker side.Size-wise I ordered both the XL and L and ended up going with the XL. I am a 36DD chest and carry all my weight in my middle for reference.To note- when I ordered these they had free returns which I was thrilled about. However, when I went to purchase another one the free return option was gone, so if you see free returns order all you think you might want the first time.

I will do the seller a favor and post the measurements for a Medium size so no one makes the same mistake I made. Shoulder to shoulder 14 inches. armpit to armpit 17 inches, shoulder to hem 24.5 inches. Simply ridiculous, these measurements are fitted for an XS on most brands, not a Medium. The fabric is soft but the quality is not there you will find some loose threads here and there also seams that don't match on the underarm, really bad quality control overall. I guess for the price you can't ask for more. If you want to return due to bad sizing you will have to pay shipping so to Goodwill they go, won't buy again from this brand or seller.

I am a small/medium and I ordered a Large size. It just fits, and I will have to be careful to wash in cold water. I like the cut and feel. I did not follow other reviewer's recommendation; I washed it cold and dried on low. It shrank so much in the length that it now does not come to the waistband of my jeans. Not a fan, looks like a baby shirt now.

Pluses: Nice and thick- you can't see your bra through it. Very soft. 100% organic cotton.Minuses: The fit didn't work for me. I bought a large (I'm a size 12-14) and my arms are on the thicker side. So even though it was loose enough in the stomach area (I like a bit of space), it was really tight on the arms. Because of the stitching, you can't really stretch out the ram holes the way you can with some t-shirts. And I think if I went up a size, it would work on my arms, but then be too big around the stomach. So unfortunately, it's going back.I would say if you have thinner arms, it's probably really cute on. The cut is a little bit boyish, but not exactly like a man's t-shirt-- more like a unisex t-shirt. The thinner neck band is what makes it a bit more feminine.

LOVE this t-shirt! I wear a large and feel its pretty true to size. I first ordered a white one to test it out and ended up loving it so much that I quickly ordered the sky blue and wasabi color. The dyes are soft and non-toxic. The feel of the cotton is so nice for the amazing price. I also realized that on the back of the tag it has a beautiful quote, "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors: we borrow it from our children -Chief Seattle"

I was so happy to finally have the money to buy new t shirts and had these organic cotton t shirts in my cart for so long.They looked great when they arrived and I couldn't wait to wash them and wear them. The colors were awesome.I just took them out of the wash to hang up to dry and my happiness vanished.They shrunk. Big time.I should have ordered up a size. Don't make my mistake, these t shirts shrink. Order up a size.These aren't heavy weight cotton and not light weight either. Somewhere in between.

Pretty cute ! Def shrunk just a tiny bit but not as much as I wanted to. I sized up according to everyone because of the shrinkage it’s prone to being cotton after you put it through the wash. However, it’s a cute basic tee and very comfortable. I’ve worn it with jeans or with leggings to yoga and it’s great either way. I got a Medium and am 5’4 108Ibs. Maybe could’ve stuck with the small if I wanted it more fitted but who knows if it would’ve shrunk too much in the wash. So I guess I’d stick to the sizing up advice from other reviewers. I vote yes! Get this white Tee if you’re hesitant.

Pedí una talla más grande de la que siempre uso porque leí las reseñas, pero la verdad creo que hubiera podido pedir mi talla de siempre. No tengo problema porque puedo usarla en outfits más casuales. La tela se siente muy suave a pesar de que es 100% algodón, y se transparenta muy poquito a pesar de ser blanca; como no tiene stretch no es ajustada, pero el corte es favorecedor. Por el precio está muy bien, es una buena adición para los básicos del closet. (peso 65kg, estatura 1.60, talla M).

I am all for supporting sustainable and fair trade where I can. Especially over fast fashion. This shirt is thinner material that you can tell from taking out of packaging will stretch and lose it's shape after a couple washes. It also runs a bit small. So after ordering one of these, I will not order another - it's like sustainable fast fashion.... or something.
