This purchase saved my marriage.I bought this Asus TUF gaming laptop 5 years ago and from day 1 the fans were loud.I called and submitted a ticket and I don't remember if it was just hard to understand whoever I was talking with or what the deal was, but I eventually just gave up. I should have probably returned the computer, but I kept it.Worse than that, I kept the bad fans and just dealt with it.This thing was LOUD! I mean obnoxiously LOUD!I'd tap and hit the computer to get it to quiet down for even 5 seconds and ultimately it got so bad that it was just a constant loud rumble.I've pulled the back cover multiple times to vacuum out the dust in the fans, and it would be better, but not quiet for a few days and then back to being loud again.Finally yesterday my wife complained about the noise, commenting that she didn't even want to come out to the living room to sit because it was too loud that she couldn't relax. I'm not kidding about that.When I say it was loud, I really mean it was LOUD!It gave me headaches. It gave her headaches.Finally last night I looked for replacement fans.I found this listing and saw the reviews, so I figured, what have I got to lose?Made the purchase and they came next day (today).I installed the fans and this thing is super quiet. I mean we can hear again.I occasionally hear the fan when the computer is processing heavier, but it's just a slight fan noise. Not a rumble and obnoxious grinding noise like before.Very happy with this purchase.I just wish I would have done it 5 years ago.It's like I have a new computer.If you are contemplating this purchase and are annoyed at loud CPU fans, DO NOT WAIT! GET THIS NOW!P.S. When I say the fans were loud before, I really don't think you fully understand. THEY REALLY WERE LOUD!
