Balance Ultra Thin Pads with Wings, Overnight Absorbency, 38 Count

I previously used always ultra thin size 4 and 5 for overnight use. They are not soft and irritated my skin. I threw those away when I got these Kotex ultra thin. I purchased the Kotex ultra thin overnight (orange labeling) and ultra thin extra heavy overnight (purple labeling). They are extremely absorbent and comfortable to wear. The top layer of the pad is soft and not scratchy like always. The ultra thin extra heavy overnight is extremely long so I will most likely only use them on my heaviest night. Otherwise I’ll be using the regular ultra thin overnight. I also purchased a box of the Kotex ultra thin overnight (regular, not extra heavy, she said the extra heavy was too long for her liking) for my teen daughter. She says they are very comfortable to wear and she is picky. They work well for her for both overnight and school days so she can have extra coverage to assure no leaks. They are thin and comfortable enough to where they don’t bother her during the school day. She prefers to have extra coverage during the school day just in case she can’t reach a bathroom in time. When you are wearing these pads you can seriously hardly feel them. They can handle a full overnight sleep even on heavy days. My teenager sleeps for like 10 hours straight and they hold up great, she says. We will be ordering the Kotex ulta thin “heavy” (green labeling) next to have an option for more moderate to light days. Like I mentioned my teenager daughter and I had been using always ultra thin sizes 2, 4 and 5 for ages and we also tried always infinity size 2 and 5. These Kotex are way better than the always mentioned. The Kotex stay in place and absorb better. The always infinity are a weird shape and shift around and the always ulta thins are not even nearly as comfortable as Kotex. If you have sensitive skin like we do I encourage you to try these Kotex pads. We will be switching over all our pads and not going back to always. You can’t beat the price for the quality. We tried some expensive Cora pads and they were soft but the quality was meh. Not worth it. Kotex wins hands down for quality, comfort, absorption, staying in place and value.

Never tried such a long thin pad ever but this one was so good. Designed well and perfectly made to be used on the heavier period days..

The U by Kotex Balance Ultra Thin Overnight Pads are excellent for heavy flow nights. They’re thin and comfortable, yet super absorbent I never have to worry about leaks. The wings keep the pad securely in place, even while sleeping, and the design is flexible enough to move with me without bunching up. I also appreciate that they’re unscented, so they don’t cause any irritation. Even though they’re “ultra thin,” they still provide full coverage and peace of mind throughout the night. So I bought this for my daughter who hasn't had any problems with them, no side leaks or anything else like that so I have to say they are pretty good!

These are my favorite pads. I like them specifically because they are so long. I like the feeling of protection for those heavy days. I don’t only use them at night. They also don’t start to smell like some other brands do.

Docked one star because they are extremely sticky in the part that sticks to your underwear. Very good otherwise - great protection. I have had leaks with every other brand of pad, but not these!

Comfortable and effective

this is the only brand i have used for the past year. i use to have always brand pads because it’s what my mom would buy, they were fine but for some reason they started to give me chemical burns a couple years into using them. i thought were just me using the wrong underwear and getting chaffed but its not. it’s something in the pad ingredients. anyways whatever that ingredient is, it’s not in these pads. these are thin and comfortable and it doesn’t leave me irritated with micro abrasions. i just recommend using the “overnight protection” yellow size, if you’re use to longer pads. i use the “heavy” green size for normal/light bleeding but never on the first day of my cycle because they don’t hold up well.

This was my first time buying these pads. I used to buy Always Overnight. I wanted to try these for a while now and for the price and the amount you get I couldn’t go wrong. I have heavy periods so I use Overnight pads all the time. I wasn’t sure about it being so thin, but it didn’t seem to make a difference. I haven’t had any leaks even when I thought for sure I was going to. I love that they’re soft and thin. It’s comfortable and feels like I’m not wearing pads at all. I have had a few that have started to come apart after only wearing them for a short period of time (1/2 hour-1 hour), but it still does the job. I also wish there was a better way to reseal them afterward. The stickiness on the wrapper is decent enough if you strike lucky opening it (which I have rarely done). For me it usually ends up on the other half and makes it impossible for me to use the wrapper to dispose of the used pads. I’ve just been using scotch tape to seal it. I love that it’s 3 boxes because it allows you to put them in different places so you have them anytime you need them. Because they’re thin, you can easily fit many into a purse, backpack or period kit. The cardboard box mine shipped in (not amazon) actually wasn’t obvious that it’s a U By Kotex box (just a small label in the corner) allowing for somewhat discreet delivery. Overall I’m really happy that I purchased these and I think I have permanently switched from Always to U by Kotex
