Therm-a-Rest Z Seat Cushion Insulated Sitting Pad

Fast delivery. Ultralight 60 grams. 33cm x 41cm (Length x Width). Actually quite warm to sit on. Good for cold ground. Will be using it as a seat pad and something to stand on when taking my shoes on and off when leaving my tent. Very robust.

We have been enjoying these sitting pads a lot (we bought two), We use them everywhere, especially on the benches in the park, which are mostly made of metal, and cold, and hard to sit on. So these pads are savers, light, bright, and of excellent design. They fold easily and take little space.

So nice, I bought another. Yes it’s more expensive than most, but I like the khaki. It’s more subtle than other garish pads I’ve seen. Some might also say it’s a bit small, but I think it’s fine. I checked the size beforehand and knew what I was getting. At the moment I use it in the garden, primarily to keep off the winter-cold garden chairs and my bottom was kept lovely and warm! It was a surprise how warm actually. Was a bit like a hot water bottle! Makes a good kneel pad too. I’m intending to hike as the weather improves and know this is coming with me, if only to add to the comfort of my folding chair.

Great seat been after this particular colourway for a while glad to have comfortable and a lil bit expensive but it is worth it

Very portable and great for hard grounds. Not convinced about its durability. Insulates well. Self inflating air cushion is my preference.

I wanted a small pad just for sitting on when I'm hiking and stop to have lunch. In the summer it's easy enough to just sit anywhere, but the rest of the year it's often wet so this pad is great to keep me dry. Has enough padding that it makes sitting on gravel comfortable too. Very compact - only about 12" square when open, 12" x 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" when folded up and it has a little bungee cord to hold it together. Weighs almost nothing so it's great to have in your day pack.

I can't bring myself to take a chair along with me on backpacking trips. They make some pretty light backpacking chairs these days but more than a pound for a chair vs 2 oz for the Z-pad. I choose sit on a rock with the Z-pad or on my bear canister with the Z-pad on top rather than adding a pound to my base weight. In fact, the main reason I bought the Z-pad is that I will be hiking the JMT this summer and bear canisters are required. They make an OK stool for cooking, expecialy with a little bit of padding provided by the Z-pad. Another good use I have found for the Z-pad is bringing it with me on winter hikes. I can sit down on the snowy ground and not freeze my buns or get wet from the snow. The item folds up nicely and has its own latch to keep it folded while in your pack. I leave it in one of the pockets on the outside of the pack so I have easy access when I feel like taking a break. I would recommend this product to anyone who hikes a lot.

Il marchio Term a rest è sempre una garanzia, buon prodotto isola molto bene dal terreno anche in condizioni molto bagnate e fredde, buona tenuta all'usura, pratico anche per la chiusura e la facilita di riporlo nello zaino, sia come viene chiuso in originale oppure solo chiudendolo a metà.

El único problema con estos cojines es que son tan cómodos que te olvidas que estabas sentado en uno de ellos. Ya perdí uno de ellos porque lo dejé sobre una piedra durante un hike. Por supuesto volví a comprar el mismo modelo. Hay algunos más económicos, pero se siente de inmediato. Este se dobla muy pequeño, resiste más el uso rudo y aisla muy bien de las superficies frías o mojadas.
