12volt does not charge battery.
The product is good for a 12volt unit. However I was under the impression that it could be charged either by mains or a 12volt DC supply. The only reason I bought it was to use on our boat where I have a 12 volt supply. The only way to use it with the 12 volt supply is to use it connected to the 12 volt supply. It does not charge. Very disappointed and pritty much useless to me.
